AUDNZD would have been the perfect pair for the martingale grid strategy if it continued to have small daily ranges. Markets change and the strategies need to adapt to prevent failures. There is no "low risk" when trading is based on grid strategies. What you need is just a big account and a lot of time to pray to see the retracement you are waiting for! Last time i saved my account, closed all trades manually. No more grids for me! :-)

Yes I agree. Any system of mine that opens more than 1 order are all hurting badly and waiting for the markets to reverse. It is never joyful until the basket is closed. Five days of momentum without any slowdown can kill small accounts.

Powerfolw is the classic example of why martingale will never work in long run. Anyone who tries to experiment or make it work is wasting time.

@FXtrader2010 The risk is never worth the reward and yes it is always an experiment that turns out to be waste of time and energy.
