(RTTNews) - Following the release of Canada jobs data for April at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie climbed further against its major counterparts.

The loonie was trading at 1.4808 against the euro, 99.96 against the yen, 0.9046 against the aussie and 1.3485 against the greenback around 8:33 am ET.
