There are pros and cons in each field. We got to see whether the pros are really benefitting for an individual and worth taking the risks for. In case of forex, the pros outweigh the cons for me.

I have my funds with 2 brokers, recently added Fxview to the list. Must say spreads are lower than most of the brokers around, execution speed is good and commissions are quite low ($2). Slippage is rare. Liked their conditions.

Yup demo is the best way to begin forex trading for a beginner. It makes you familiar as to how the trading platform works and you can even back test strategies on it.

True. In the end it all comes down to self-control which is a very hard thing to find in the human nature. But if we really want to excel in trading we need to know how to keep ourselves calm and stay away from greed.

I would totally agree. 200x is too risky for a newbie. Though everyone has a different risk tolerance, but always better to keep the risk low.
