Earning 10-15% on my investment in forex on annual basis could be already a good result for me to achieve. I would like to reach a strong level of consistency in performance 😄

I also prefer variable spreads. The reasons for that are well presented by others here so far.

Do you mean avoiding the major pairs? I believe volatility is certainly related with the popularity of the pair but also with specific news events that can affect virtually all instruments.

Hi guys, normally slippage should be part of how the markets work. If the broker sends all your orders to the market, the chance to have a slippage always exists. But it can be both negative or positive. If your slippage is constantly negative, this could be a red signal about the broker having a dealing desk.As far as I know, LMAX acts like a virtual exchange where all participants are anonymous. The No last look setup affects more the spreads, rather than the slippage. The pair starts this week in a bullish sentiment breaking initial resistance at 1.0640, however MACD and RSI indicate still a bearish overall trend. I would also watch for a support at 1.0620 and a major resistance at 1.0670.

I doubt that there is any currency not driven by politics. Sound advices were given already in the discussion to avoid news trading and focus on majors. There you simply find more price action to study and learn from.@cesaraugusto Have you chosen your pairs to start with?

We could look at the case with pro traders sharing live signals from a different perspective:How about if a pro trader has 1000 followers that trade with significant amount of money copying his positions? The price trend is formed by the trades opened so the more people trade in the same direction, the better. Maybe this could be of an advantage also for the pro trader. Of course this is quite simplistic example and things do not work always in ideal conditions. But just thinking out loud of a possible reason for a pro to share signals, apart from earning money for it.

Since the beginning of the year we see a steady bullish trend in the EURUSD pair, confirmed by Momentum, MACD and RSI all moving in unison with the chart on h4 timeframe. If it continues with this pace, we may see it reaching levels around 1.0860 by the end of this trading week.
