My tips:- Git gud noob- Day trading is idiotic- Trading with indicators is idiotic- Academics looked at entire countries including institutions and could not find anyone that made money day trading

I would say for the first 6 months just watch videos, read, look at stuff, take trades with the smallest amounts possible if you want to.Spend time backtesting ideas. 6 months is rather short really. Even the shortest formations (haircutter etc) take longer right?Also depends if you are full time or not. I think 2 years is required for people to have a diploma to bake bread and make cakes.People think trading is easier than baing bread? C'mon.Just spend a couple thousands of hours accumulating info and trying to understand "why did the market move in that direction rather than that on...

Who are you? Background? Interests? What are your goals? Etc. Just go watch videos on youtube (UKspreadbetting & MoneyWeek are good channels), read about all this on investopedia, read the forums, ideas, etc...There are systems spread over the internet you can look at this for fun.I started live immediately. Demo... idk it's boring. Will teach patience I guess but it could also push you to risk alot make you confident couldn't it?Going live doesn't mean you have to take 10 trades a week risking 1/10 of your account every trade.
