true that. It is impossible to learn anything about forex unless you actually start trading. Demo account can be good in this respect but unless real money is involved you don’t really learn any big lessons. And yes finding a good broker is very much important- somebody you can be comfortable trading with. It’s not an easy task though.

Very nicely put comebackking. It is not entirely possible to control your emotions. These are natural feelings that come from within. We can however choose to not act on certain emotions. Of course that would require great mental restraint and practice but it is possible. Meditation is known to help a lot in this respect. It really calms your mind and helps you think in the right direction. To be successful trader it is essential to not just gather the correct skill set and knowledge but also to deal wih your emotions in a prudent manner.

This has to be one of the most important tasks of forex trading. In order to be a profitable trader it is very important to choose the perfect broker in accordance with your trading preferences. If you want to try a broker you can test its demo account first. Or go for micro account with that broker. You can decide whether you want to stick with that broker or not based on your demo/micro experience.

If you do not have adequate knowledge about what you are doing, in this case scalping, then yes it would be very risky. Just like anything else. The key here is to understand and know what you are doing. One should know how to manage the risk

Agreed. There are a lot many factors that go into successful forex trading besides knowledge. A trusted broker is one of them. Although I believe even then there is always a certain degree of uncertainty as these markets tend to be rather volatile sometimes.

Some people treat it as a hobby for fun while others undertake it as full time job. I guess you can pursue it as a hobby but in order to be profitable you’ll need to take it more seriously and passionately. And who knows what starts as a hobby can one day turn into your job?? ;)

Of course it is profitable. But it depends on how you tread the path of forex trading. If you want steady, long term gains then that would require years of experience with forex market, right trading strategies and knowing how much is too much
