Yes it is martingale or semi-martingale. They advise to use low lots, but I used the standard lots with a $2,000 account for 3 weeks and turned $2000 into almost $7,000. Then during and after the holidays I lost it all.

I was very optimistic about this EA prior to the holidays. I ran it with the default/standard set file sand it won the majority of the time, every morning I'd wake up and I'd have gained $100-300. Almost every single day it was a winner. Now, after the holidays, it's the exact opposite. Every morning I wake up and I'm down $500-1000. I keep depositing more funds (I'm finally out of money now) and every day it keeps losing more trades and killing my account. Wait, you're saying your meta trader wasn't even online/open and the trades still took place on your account? I don't think that's possible. But one thing I did notice is dougs trades got closed out on Friday. I have my settings configured to close my trades before 4pm EST on Friday as well but mine did not close for some reason... Not exactly sure why. I made the mistake of opening an extra trade along side the EA, but I should have opened a hedge trade in the other direction, would have made money going up and back down... I just wish I would have got a better estimation of w...

0.50 seems more than realistic for $5,000 balance as long as you don't have any other EAs on your account drawing down your free margin... I like MM because it will change the lot sizes based on your equity/available margin... Much safer bet and will automatically scale up the lot sizes as your account balance grows.

That JL trader review is complete BS. There is no way to fabricate live third party verified results on MyFxBook, which is what his post is claiming. I have used rev trader for nearly one month. I must say, I started out conservative using money management at around 5% on the profitable pairs and 3% on the less profitable pairs. Since this EA seems to do exceptionally well with AUD|USD and NZD|USD, I guess it could be used for those two pairs only and then use a different EA or a solid signal for GBP|USD and EUR|USD. I think that's what I'll end up doing.

I just purchased this EA, had another friend purchase it as well and we've both opened accounts with the recommended broker for US (FX Choice) with $2-3k each. I set the settings as recommended in the text file to handle up to 3 trades per pair with 70%+ win ratio it seems safe to go at it with this approach. But according to the vendor (could be wrong as communication on Skype isn't exactly responsive) he didn't use the money management at all.
