At least one fault I see at IBFX: spread is too high in standard condition, thus much bigger at news time. 2 pips of spread is 80% more than a lot of other brokers - 1.2 pip spread included is... like a perfume. Find another. IBFX is not what they say it is.

Old tick may be the result of any of the following three faults:1. client's computer time not sync with the "world clock2. slow data feed between broker's server and client's MT43. broker's server is overloaded.Some say this error affects demo account more than live. What broker caused this error? See if they use multiple data center and choose another from the connection icon in MT4 status bar.P.S. I also use the myfxbook EA for publishing.

End the result is again tight. FIFO=false has a profit factor of 4.01 vs. 3.91 and wins 195 pips more than FIFO=true. It also made fewer trades.

Let's see something even more interesting.I made 3 parallel backtests of the whole year of 2011. I used standard settings of the 1.16. On live accounts, as we know, we cannot use FIFO and Hard_stops in the same time. But in the back-tests we can... So here are the results:3rd place: FIFO=true and Hard_stop=false (manually set).2nd place: FIFO=false and Hard_stop=true. Oh, they are. At least in 1.16 if I set FIFO true, then Hardstop is set to disabled. Maybe 1.2 is different?Late edit: I just checked version 1.2 on another account and also, if I set FIFO:true, then Hard_Stop_trailing automatically switches to false.Can you confirm?

I will use simple words. The winning rate is much less important than the number of pips in profit. Yes, FGB has more looses than winnings but the number of pips gained is THE MOST IMPORTANT! This is good because the risk/reward ratio is bigger than 150%. This EA looses around 25 pips in a trade and wins 60. Do your math. The bottom line is that the bigger but seldom profits exceed the smaller but often looses. In long term this fact will bring you profits. The close strategy is as good as the profits made so far! It's impossible for anyone - software or human - to predict where is the best low/high price for closing a sell/buy order. You all expect FGB to do supra-natural work. Well, just wait... The same strategy produced 1700% gain. If you do not want looses, feel free to manually close any positive trade you are pleased with, but do not come here then to express your frustration about not letting it a little bit more on that positive trade. It's not a curve fitting. You're just speculating. Maybe you missed my post so I will write it again: the "if" only affects the lot sizes for the specified periods, making them smaller. I have decompiled the ex4 file and there is no such setting for the future.

Those settings printed here by the very counterproductive user named "primevalea" would affect the lot sizes for orders deployed between May 2009 and July and also for the entire May 2010. It is in fact a good thing that the lot sizes get smaller, they shrink with about 60% for that periods, minimizing the risk. It has nothing to do with the bot's engine. These settings are present in both version 1.16 and 1.2.There is no scam. It's only "smart" and frustrated people that carry on looking for faults instead of studying and testing what conditions must be met in orde...

I suspect your second broker is IBFX (?) then I must say I tried them, even on demo the give 4000 ms order modification... which is worse than manual management. Also their spread is at least 1.9 pip and that's to big for a MDP's users profit split.
