Automated Trading Systems
Automated Trading Systems: Also known as Expert Advisors (EAs), are systems usually developed on platforms like MetaTrader. These systems use algorithms to start and stop trades based on predefined criteria. Trading using an automated system allows trading around the clock without human intervention while also reducing emotional decision-making.
Key Components of Trading Systems
Each Forex trading system is designed to fit the individual trader’s goals, how much risk they are willing to take, and their unique trading style. When looking at Forex trading systems, there are several important parts to consider:
Entry Strategies: These are the rules that tell traders when to enter a trade. They often rely on technical indicators, chart patterns, or important news events.
Exit Strategies: These rules determine when to close a trade, whether its to take a profit or cut a loss.
Risk Management: Methods to limit losses, like setting trailing stop-loss and take-profit orders that move along the progress of the trade or adjusting the size of the trades based on the calculated certainty.
