I couldn't close EURUSD when I was $5k in positive and now I'm $2k in negative. This "contest" is a disaster.

Since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points on the Maximum Deviation is equivalent to one pip. If you adjust your Max Dev to 30, that would equate to price range of 3 pips.

I don't understand.. my friend is on a live account and he can't close any positions..the price is now going against him.. just curious.. here are the message and he set the default deviation to 30 pips. :o

I have posted two times in the past 15 min , and they remove the posts so no one can read it , now , I am 100% sure that all of us have the same problems with our accounts on FXCM . T/P been reached and no closing for positiona!! sliipage!! off qoutes!!! invalid price!! roll over!!! commission!!! more than 30 min and we can\t trade or close any position on our account!!! GOOD JOB FXCM, Fantastic contest . my account ranking was between the 7 place to 200 in the past 3 days , now I am far away. thank you FXCM

it's incredible.. i was so sure of my orders but when I wanted to close, kept telling me that there were not prices, the market was closed and I did not take the closure ... 3 trading days, 3 days of fake, of problems whit orders ... the management of this server demo FXCM is horrible. HOW IT'S POSSIBLE????????????????????????

I risked too much to close with a profit (or even loss) of an abnormal difference ... other than slippage ... here it comes to snowboarding FXCM trade ... what are you doing?

Ok guys please stop crying. It is only DEMO, and none of us were going to win it anyway. So now that most of your dreams of having a real account is now gone, let us focus on regular trading. Considering joinning this PAMM.... 5% a day keeps the 9 to 5 away.

Hi Retronite,
While you're right that the commission is charged once when you open and again when you close, your total transaction cost with FXCM's new pricing is still lower than with the old model, since you're trading on raw FX spreads with no markups added to the spread. See the examples below.
You might also want to watch this video for further clarification on how this new raw FX spread pricing works:

I just wanna ask something, we are in a contest and the FXCM do all that (invalid price, off qoutes... etc) what about if we have real accounts what will they do ? thank you FXCM and i will tell every body about how much you are good and how much you looking to be the best . ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Hahahahaha all you contestant are making me laugh because you are all acting like a novice in this game. There is a trick am using which I will not post here so that the admin don't start trying to play smart. I am opening and closing my trade just like a piece of cake. Just send me a mail to ajani dot sunday49 at g mail dot com with the subject trick and I will tell you how am getting it done. Holllaaaa
