It is rumored that Satoshi's wallet hold over 1Million BTC, so just thinking about that and calculating how much that is in $$, I shouted out loud and then the question hit me; What if Satoshi appeared today, will it affect the price of btc.


We all know btc has always carried an aura of mystery, and at the heart of this mystery lies the greatest enigma of all, Satoshi Nakamoto, perhaps even the most wanted man on earth...lol


Satoshi was the one who mined the first btc block, he then disappeared, and never returned and in a way I think that was awesome because it afforded btc the freedom to grow without a leader/centralized figure. But I dont know if there are people like me who are thinking about this same question, what will Satoshi appearance do to btc market?


Imagine just waking up to the headline: ''Satoshi is back" on a global news outlet.


The market would explode in chaos. The thought of him (or her, or them, whichever one it is....lol) dumping even a fraction would send prices down badly. On the flip side, if Satoshi simply appeared to reassure us, saying, “I’m still here, but I won’t sell,” the faith and hype might rocket BTC to new highs.


Personally, I think the mystery is one of btc strongest narrative. The absence of Satoshi made it clear that btc belongs to no one, but it belongs to everyone. I think Satoshi return would be historic, but it could also shake the very foundation of our belief.


So here’s my lingering thought: would Satoshi’s presence be a blessing to us; the price of btc, or would it crash land the price?
