Just daily rat race sort of stuff. Comes with the territory, the real lesson to be learned is how you handle it psychologically and place those thought somewhere else and focus on the upcoming. Trust me, that is the best lesson to take out of it. This will happen throughout your trading career and I can't remember how many times I've been in a similar situation only to let it impact that day's trading.
Those little creeping thoughts in the back of the mind are more power than we realize. Trading really comes down (After you technically have it down and understand your system makes money) psychological discipline and mastery. The fact that I don't know of 1 decent Forex and Oil trading online "training" that focuses on psychological should speak volumes for the so-called 95% club!

LOL, I am currently thinking same thing. it might be another opportunity around the corner. Just need to stay alert now. trend line, daily and Friday's highs. it can be interesting.

It's almost beyond strange. If you keep yourself in the "flow of opportunity" mindset (There are books on it, etc), you end up making a lot more pips. In the "zone" so to speak as Mark Douglas would say in his book "Trading in the Zone" (highly recommended if you haven't read it, or "Market Wizards")

Yes, I read that book. Very good one but too wordy for my taste. When I was reading it I did not have all the tools so psychology was not as important. Now I have tools and psychology is important. could have been out with nice profit by now.
but that's ok. we have a good range now even if it won't break I think there might be something else.

BTW, the guy who traded stocks on Fear and Greed thread had undergone hypnosis sessions to improve his trading psychology.

You can google Fear and Greed trader. very interesting read and a lot of trading examples for stocks. pretty interesting stuff.

This is too ironic. I was going to mention hypnosis as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Rick Collingwood and his hypnosis CD's, he's a very famous guy in this realm. I've been using two of the CD's, they are amazing and pretty cool also. You will see categorization on his website and can pick one that first helps to "cleanse" any issues you have, then one to maybe expand yourself. Well, check it out - www.mindmotivations.com

I just checked the price action around this time with another oil broker. While oil was not responding price actually went to some small profit and there were opportunity to exit at profit or BE.

slightly up today. If that trade gets returns it will be better. 0.25% up today but was very choppy. gotta go add will continue tomorrow. I should have ended day around London open as my plan was if 81.40-81.50 holds and I was short and price breaks above PP which was 81.75, I would buy. I bought but 25 pips higher which caused me leave long trade too early. Not to mention that my mind was pretty much messed up due to those 20 minutes of getting stuck in trade and not seeing what was going on.
I would also close short trade either at small profit/ BE or smaller loss. so, I believe it is fair to have this trade canceled as I had no chance to manage it. if people check my today's trades I closed many of them before stop was triggered when i felt that price was not acting as I expected.

Oil again stopped responding and there was gap again. This time I thankfully was not in trade. Contacted live help again to let them know. This has happened 4 times on my watch during last 6 weeks.

Got in trade and it froze on me yet again. I had to close it for -8 pips when it restarted.

Not good.. another incident? FX Primus better step it up or I'm not going to fund the account I have.
BTW Chikot, I'd open a Singapore dollar account and fund it also, not just a USD. Cheers.

Very bad indeed. I used to trade with them last summer FX never had any problems. I saw it a couple of times before, but now it is 2 days in a row.
