That's no doubt. The vaults is full! I guess with this performance 9/5 can be said bye bye pretty soon.

when I feel myself comfortable. I dont want to mess it. but soon. currently system is working very good on ECN-ECN but still finding solutions to brokers tricks 😇

Chikot i have a plan to say bye bye to 9/5, but it's still too early. August performance was somehow inflated because i wanted to make a test. I used my holidays to trade the whole day as if i was doing it full time. It looks like the performance was good, but i still have a problem to deal with. For some strange reason i tend to have more BUYs then SELLs.
it's like my mind is biased towards BUY 🙃. Its something i still have to work on. Also EURUSD has been in range mode for several weeks, so i still have to prove myself how i will deal with the transition to trend mode.
In September i will be back to my day job ( and it will be a busy month). I just hope i manage to achieve 3 to 5% at least.
Overrall i'm more and more confident that i will be doing it full time within the next 6 months more or less..

Trader757, I think nothing wrong if you have Buy bias as long as you buy when it is time to buy not when it is time to sell.
The curve is very smooth and it is achieved with stops which is very good.
E/U has been in range since May but as I say you trade with stops. I actually noticed that trading from candlesticks and s/r lines has been very easy on E/U. Pretty much they were giving free money away to those who understands.
But if you understand so, I guess whether it is range, trend or just mess you still can make % 😄
I think that the most important is to determine what it is that instrument doing this day.
Look at my Wednesday. I got caught with pants down. I was able to adjust only by the end of the day.
It means we also must be on our toes.
For me the most important is that trader cut losses. As long as he doe sit he is going to be fine at the end.
And I am quite sure you will be trading for a living very soon.

this system can trade with any broker if they dont cheat. can be DD or STP/ECN. the reason why I have started with STP/ECN is defend against REQUOTE. And that is proved that DD brokers are very trick due to that issue.

I have never seen any MT4 broker that does not requote. Oanda doe snot have requotes but there is other issues.

I am working with real ECN and never seen a requote. Oanda says they dont use VDP but their order execution is too slow.
BTW MT4 originally designed as DD platform. So it is not sutable for ECN accounts. But I have learned that too late while had too far with MT4.

I have seen FX ECN broker as it calls itself here in Canada . It is called SmartTradeFX ECN.
Oanda widens spreads all the time, it doe snot trade oil and it is American which creates a lot of problem for me.
They are closing my account on September 30, although I do not have there any money anymore. All those registrations and other stuff. i am happy I am Canadian and also have other passports so I am not within this stupid regulations.
It is regarding managing OPM of course. i am not even sure if for example my current broker would accept US citizens money.

to be true there are not tredable brokers in the market more then fingers at the hand.
with my experiance it is not possıble trade on market at the news hours if you are not lucky. even if broker is good the net traffic becomes a problem.
so we normal traders should fınd the way of tradıng and makıng money on standart trading conditions and stay away from exterrems.
when you compare the charts from 2005 to today market has extreemly changed. I am currently trading live over 3 years and really get bored of makıng money on one week/month and then loosıng ıt ın another

I have tested thousands of different systems. there is no holly grail. there is only one indicator can be used ıs the MA (MA is the root of all indicators). but unfortunatelly this is paradox. the past of the price feed is generating MA and MA is effecting the future of the price. this is PARADOX. and there is no solutıon for that.
SO I decided to get experience on arbitrage opp. today arbitrage opp is getting more and more. due every day there is a new instrument in the market. think of sport arbitrage. 5 years ago we can not even think about it but today is ıs a quıte profitable way of making money.
so my way is arbitrage. there are so many opportunities. but you shold search and always find new ideas.

I absolutely hate news and especially getting stuck in trade when news are being announced. I usually stay away from 30 min before news to at least 15 min after news.
I do not use any indicators at all. Only S/R lines, trend lines and pivot points.
The market changes constantly. Just few months ago oil was traded in much more orderly manner than it is now. But it is not a mess now either.
I think also my performance is being hurt by fees.
I have just checked. For God sake, i have paid $34 in fees., It is 3%. Considering I am already on 4 pips spread and plus 1 pip fee it is a way too much. They call themselves ECN spread but they constantly requote me and trading with limit orders with this kind of spread is not easy as I can miss many trades.
Regarding MA. Check Thursday and Friday price action. What MA could help, LOL?
I think it is very useful to think that price moves in a way to fool as many people as possible showing them one thing and doing the opposite. The funny thing that on Wednesday price was showing range and I was the one who fooled myslef and only picked myself by the end of the day.
I think it might be a problem with EA as you have to monitor it constantly. Imagine you leave it and suddenly market changes and EA starts taking trades as per strategy but market would not follow through and starts chop EA.
I guess we must be on our toes at all times.

I noticed there is trade on Friday. I did not trade this account. I just got up and was still sleepy and decided to check the market and without noticing clicked on buy but noticing the trade on closed it right away. LOL, it should have been a huge winner.

Why? because eg when MA50 crosses MA200 stay away and also if the prıce is in this window stay away twice. due it is paradox. and continously crreating paradox with every cross. I give you a advise. take a note what you ever think while you are entering or exiting your trades that are effective on your desecion. max after a month you will not be able take a single trade due to the rules you have created. there are always some reasons for loosing a trade. but there is no solution for that. I dont except the robots while writing thıs cooment. on friday my robot had a loss due it was not know that all market was waiting bernanke speech. robots does not watch TV :) thats why they are not emotıonal but on the other hand they dont know whats goıng on in the market. so as a last word I get bored all those ıssues and focused on my project. forget about all and focus on your trades have nıce weekend 😉

You know, I have never had these MAs on my screen so I have no idea what's happening price wise when they are crossing.
Om entries, I already got one rule, wait for retracement/ pull back. In vast majority of my entries, price moves against me first before going into profit. It happens in so many cases that it is as I think better to let trade go then to enter without retracement.
For now I will follow your advice and focus on weekend at hand ;) anyway, it is back to work for me in a week and I am not trading till September 1. so, it's time to relax.
