I don't know but oil contracta hace an expiración date and this can be an issue. With currencies por golf you can run positions forma years.

i have the commodity code oil EA if you want a copy? it only goes on charts with a particular type of oil (my broker didnt trade that type of oil)

Can you set up a demo with oil .send me the logins and I connect the gold ea .we will see how it goes.

some brokers trade light oil on the myfxchoice brokerage is listed as WTICrude. If your broker trades it let me know and i will email you a copy

The only problem with gold EA's they don't trade for long ( Time ) which oil needs long trading due the slow price change.

Hey bundesrepublik I have tested the gold ea on oil and it works on the backtest.i will set it up at the weekend on a demo unless someone offers to put it on a real oil account.
