I'm glad I reported on that before you! :) Since I started by promoting this EA, I wanted to be the first to say that so far it's not a good start. Still, I'll be patient for at least another 2 weeks.

I'm not going to fine tune for my broker. I think that's pure BS, just to give people stuff to believe it, and waste time trying. Of course you will get different performance with different parameters, but the main reason I bought this EA was the claim to be broker independent (the second reason was the high pips expectancy shown on the page).

So far none of these seem to be true, but again, I'm not concerned given the very short period of forward testing. If around Feb 8 (about 3 weeks days into purchase) the signs are not favorable, I'll just ask for a refund and that's it. For me even the experience I had so far with backtesting (the first time I did such an extensive one) was good, so it's all good.

Less than a week after release, here comes a patch... Not a good sign, for me, but at least the team shows interest, and that's better than nothing. At least now I have all my backtesting infrastructure ready, so I'll be able to repeat the tests very easily.

high trading frequency. this was what I had mentioned😉

BTW it is very early to say good/bad. lets wait and see. I hope it does a good job and we can use it.

the order algo can be correct due it opens with every bar. this means it may waiting for the new fractal.

if you add fractals to your M15 chart, your trade will enter right after the new fractal.
If its a Down fractal, you'll be Long,
If its an Up fractal you'll be Short,

The concept is " Bounce off support and resistance and ride the longer momentum.

If, nothing happens within 9 hours, or if Monemtum goes the opposite way, close the trade and/or adjust( tighten) the SL.

This bots Logic isn't sophisticated enough to run 24/7.

of course you have a Filter depth to decrease or increase activity, but how is this going to help?

Id like to see your backtests please. cOUld you also post a graph of the last 12 months? Not 10 yrs, Id like to see a resent history chart. Longer charts tend to cover up drawdowns.

this is what I get
in no hedge mode.

I'm running some additionnal back tests. the kpt parameter appear to provide 10% more profits when we pla with.

another point, each currency has to be fine tuned, the parameters are really different from 1 to another!

in hedge mode the performance is near 20000$ less powefull. (75000$ compared to 93000$)

for usdchf, hedge mode = 22300$
non hedge (back test in progress) but apparently I can get 38000$
(from 5000$ risk at 10%)

so we can quickly get 20% more profit by optimising the EA for the account.

As mentioned there, you can cut the image in 3 equal parts and get the chart for just 1 year.

I also can aggregate the results in a spreadsheet, that could tell you a lot, in addition to the images.

Could you just give us the coupon? So that people buy from the affiliate they want to? I recommend buying from EAreview.net, since you get the added value of backtests of all sorts.

No offense, but by posting your affiliate link here it looks like you are just trying to make a quick buck, and you are using a product link supposed to be used for Donna Forex readers.

The week is wrapping up, and over the weekend I'll have other things to do, so I'll post a short summary now.

The forward testing of FFM, using default parameters, has been just horrible so far. Yes, the USD had wild swings, and since FFM trades USD pairs, it's not wonder that it was affected. Still, for an EA claiming to have such a low DD as the sales page mentions, the robot has proven to be far from the sales pitch. Here are the numbers for the trades closed so far:

-150 pips on the real FXDD account
-60 pips on the demo FXDD account
-556 pips on the demo Pepperstone Standard account
------------------------
=> a total of -766 pips, or an average of -255 pips per account

Other surprising negative aspects:
- the robot has failed to produce even remotely similar results in the 3 forward test accounts. Other than the fact that all of them are consistently losing, I mean :). FXDD demo and real have somewhat close trades, but Pepperstone, which has a lower spread for all pairs, and was supposed to get better performance, gets quite the opposite. The messages from William that we need to optimize the EA for each broker as in my opinion just to send people of a wild goose chase. There are plenty of non-scalping EAs that work across a variety of brokers, and all that consistently affects the bottom line is the spread
- no matter how much I tested it, the backtests do not come even close to the pips expectancy shown on the website, which is the main reason I jumped on this EA

All in all, I'll wait for more trades to accumulate, and more days to pass (so far we only have 6 trading days of forward testing performance), but I must say the EA seems suspicious already. It's nice for the team to offer a patch, but why was the patch needed so soon, less than 1 week after release?

We may have a product that hit an ugly bump in the road, just after release, or we may have an overly optimized EA, which looks great on backtests, and drives the account into the ground on forward tests. Let's see if the next week brings the patch and/or a different equity curve.

the above i guess don't use FastFX on his account.

anyway, we started yesterday a test with Fast Forex Millions on two live accounts too and have some nice days with it. not special for now but ok.

We talked with the developer about an stop trading on Fridays option, because the EA try to open orders at Fridays before the Market will close... not the best idea to hold up to 8-10 trades open 😀.
also the trailing SL needs to be faster.

It all seems kind of random to me, for now. Birt says that, beyond sensitivity to brokers, the time one starts FFM affects its performance immensely. Which, again, is kind of random.

I'd say Birt has better spreads but that's not benefiting Remus on Pepperstone, so...?
