MT4 or 5 is better?

Someone does trade on Meta Trader 5? I have always used the 4 version, that many sites provide, like skyfx (I'm not saying it's good or not as a website is just the first one that came to my mind), as the new attracts more and wanted to know if you had used and with what results. It is better than MT4? Thank you very much.

I have tryied to use MT5. It has no difference for me. The only thing is that most of the indicators and EA are being made for MT4 and nobody wants to give up those

Since the mql4 language is not compatible with the new platform, any sound trader which uses his custom indi and eas, refined over years of tuning and through research, simply doesnt give a damn about mt5.

MT5 is the newest language and does have some advantages. I like to build and fast back test on MT5 myself using the generator, but its very liimited. I cant program in MT4 so I have to hire it out. Hiring out a MT5 build is more expensive because so few people are expert programmers in MT5. Also, many forex brokers use MT4 and very few brokers are using MT5 at this time.

MT5 needs more sever on Broker side then MT4. So brokers prefer MT4 as its cheaper. MT5 is better but should be used & tested first.

Thats very true! I use my own EAs (see in profile) and I dont give a damn about MT5. I will never change MT4 to MT5 (till broker will stop support MT4...)

Mt4 has long history of establisment. There have been a lot of ea and custom indicators created for it, nobody wants to give up the maoney thety pay for all that stuff.
