By the way, I've been running the same EA at Dukascopy's since 2008 and so far so good, it makes me around 40% per year. I'm happy with the results and I don't waste any time or energy with it because it's a set and forget EA.

You can see my performance below : max drawdown of 3.64% with a monthly performance of 2.6%-4% on average. The system is stable since 55 weeks.
Last year (2017) I made +31% with one pair and this year I added two more pairs with a projected performance of >+40% with still a very limited drawdown.

I have posted this trading account once before, now a couple of months later it's still going. Up until September 1st 2017 I was running my own MT4 eas which I coded myself on a short time frame scalping system without much success, from then to October 2017 I made a killing trading the New Zealand election (note large upward spike) I then thought I was god and did one large trade that cost me heaps, followed by one large trade that made me heaps, followed by one large trade that cost me heaps again. I took a break for a month and changed strategy. I moved to daily and weekly charts which suit my personality more and now I only use pending orders. I haven't done a market order for months. I have finally learned some patience and don't FOMO my way into trades anymore. I keep the lot size down so if a trade goes against me I can handle the fear better. Any how here is my account to view....

Maybe because not producing ANY profit for 18 months... it is still better than to lose all your money after 8 months like you've done with your accounts. 😀 and in case you don't know success in forex it's about making money and not losing it no matter how long it takes.
