I like to wait for break outs of the asian range. So often EURUSD goes sideways in Asia. I just wait for price to break above /below that range

Oh an interesting observation. Traded on EURUSD only during the European session.

Trend Following: Riding the trend can be effective. Identify the prevailing trend using indicators like moving averages and focus on trading in the direction of that trend.

Hi Nathanial,
I don't imagine any competent Trader who has spent many hours finding there strategy with all the back and forward testing required, and work involved to offer there Secret Sauce on an
open forum.
Just my 2 cents.

I like Asian break trades on EURUSD (and GBPUSD). Work well when trading is range bound in Asia

Sounds like you have a great strategy! Waiting for breakouts of the Asian range in EURUSD is a smart approach,

Ignore the bs about the Asian session if you are a new trader. Only action in the London/New York sessions are relevant because that is when the pairs are traded.
Trend is your friend, follow it.
Find your own strategy to wait for a pull back from normal momentum in the trend for your entries, back test the hell out of it then you are on the right path. After back testing using demo is recommended. There's plenty of mistakes to learn from when live trading, even with a winning strategy.

While it's true that the London/New York sessions often have higher trading volumes, dismissing the Asian session entirely may not be advisable. Each trading session has its own characteristics, and opportunities can arise during the Asian session as well. however thanks, buddy.
