I have found a myfxbook account I am interested in to copy. Briefly, how does that work? Will I be put in contact with the trader to make payment? Will I send the trader my account # and Password to trade? Thanks for your help.

Hope you are doing well and enjoying the best of your life!
I would like to tell you, that you can copy a trader by going for social trading, you can look for a trader portfolio his experience and his achievement if you find them good you can subscribe them to your trading account and his trades will be automatically copied to your account, the trader might charge some subscription fees or some commission.

you need to contact trader to find out the copying possibilities.
