Me too, price is the only way to trade. As you say it is king. I like hourly what about you? Daily is too long and lower than hourly is too many false signal

As a trader and programmer since 15 years ago, I have had the chance to try and code hundreds of strategies. Always trying to make it simple but almost nothing work.
At the last 2 years I come with the idea to make a group of interested traders on Skype to develop one of my EAs who made 184% in 8 days then 420% in just the next 4 dsys but later the profit start going up and down which means we can't rely on it. It was named by Candle-Breakout ea. We are now 24 group members. We are almost one year working on it. The project lead to many ideas and finally we are working on Currency Strengths... It gives great results (some times)... (tp=5 pips... sl=50 pips)...

When you come to the topic of currency strength in trading you will find everything is logical, specially when you see that most of the trades close faster than you used too.
But sometimes you find the market is not going the way you used to it. So, our main work now is to find when to use currency strength the efficient way to finish this project as soon as we can.
I advise to not neglect this topic. It is very profitable if you play it right.

When market goes against your strength analyses could it be fundamentals [or trump] influence?
How do you solve that in backtets?

vontogor, I'm sorry for the delay. I have been sick and also environment around is very tough (electricity and Internet long hours cuts and also bombing around) :(
No trading records yet because everything is still testing and continuous settings and coding changes.
Sure, I will post some as soon as I got more stable results. But this topic is really worth to put an eye on it.

From all trading strategies scalping is more profitable that brings profit in a short time. but in spite of a profitable trading policy scalping cannot use in a regulated trading broker practically. So, we the traders who are particularly scalpers have to choose the broker which for all time ensures best trading environment for scalping by providing lowest trading spreads including minimum margin requirements.

Currency strength always in change according to news, supply and demand, and many other factors
Don't go with technical and fundamental analysis religiously and wait the price to hit your target but instead let your robot read the market tick by tick and ride the waves. ....

Trading strategy depends on the instrument and the times. Usually positions trading grid.
If you want the currency we got the advantage.

Make sure you have ALL daily, weekly & monthly pivots, supports and resistances levels on ALL your Forex charts.

Scalping is not really easy, you'r supposed to have years of experience and can predict the market with low number of pips and cut your losses extremely short and at some points let the wining trades run!

Some robots are good but I like to use them while I am learning to trade. I like the idea of them bringing in some money while I learn how to trade properly
