Looking for a Good Forex EA for My $10,000 Real IC Markets Account (Low Drawdo
i Shaliya,
Great that you're prioritizing low drawdown and long-term stability over flashy returns. That's the right mindset for sustainable trading.
A few things to consider when evaluating any EA (including the ones recommended here):
Always ask for verified Myfxbook results with at least 3-6 months of live trading (not just backtests)
Check the drawdown history during volatile market periods - that's where you see the real risk management
Verify it's not using risky strategies like martingale or grid trading without stop losses
Make sure there's proper support, documentation, and regular updates
Test it on a demo account first, even if results look promising
Whatever you choose, take your time to verify everything. The $10k account deserves careful consideration. Good luck!

I’m running a $10,000 real account with IC Markets, and I’m looking for recommendations on a solid Forex EA that I can use for long-term trading.
I’m not after high-risk or over-optimized systems — I’d rather go for something that delivers steady profits with low drawdown and can handle market changes over time.
Here’s what I’m mainly looking for:
✅ Low drawdown (safety first)✅ Consistent and realistic profit✅ Long-term reliability✅ Compatible with IC Markets ECN conditions✅ Works on MT4 (build 1440+ preferred)If you’ve tested or are currently using an EA that fits this description, I’d really appreciate your suggestions or feedback.
I’m planning to treat this as a long-term investment, so I want to make sure I choose something stable and trustworthy.
Thanks in advance for your help and recommendations! 🙏

Hi. I'm selling an advisor that brings in 150-300% per year. But I'm using MT5.
I might be wrong, but it’s tough to find an EA that’s that specific and stays reliable long term. Most low drawdown steady ones still have hidden tradeoffs. If you want something truly tailored, working with a developer and setting clear risk rules is usually the safer route.
just look into my profile accounts and get back to me if interested
Be careful with recommendations based on short backtests or messaging apps. For long-term use, I’ve found the biggest difference isn’t the EA name, but how robust the logic is across different market regimes and how drawdown is controlled over time.
Have you actually seen a verified Myfxbook track record for the EA you’re considering, with real broker data and a full year plus of history? That’s the filter I’d start with. Most low drawdown steady profit bots look great until the first regime change. If it can’t survive news spikes and sideways months without martingale or grid tricks, it’s not really low risk, it’s just hiding it.
