Dear FxPapa,
Quote from your website
"FxPapa Expert Advisor uses a combination of 4 trading strategies. While the entry rules are different the Money Management of orders are the same. The main target of all analysis is to detect the right direction of the market trend and find the best entry point.
The FxPapa Expert Advisor also review the combination of their results to be able to find the right choice."
Where does it state on your site, that the EA provided is not capable of generating its' own signals but needs the master signal to come from the server?
Earlier in the post you advised what the stop loss level was, this was exceeded and you have since posted
"We are creating an update for the EA to solve the SL problems. It will be ready this weekend."
Please do not make out that anyone is posting false information. Maybe your EA does have a bug which conveniently meant your trades did not stop out.
However I cannot find any mention on your site that the signals are actually generated from your own server and that the EA is actually a trade manager for these signals. This is in direct conflict with the main statement on your site i.e. "The main target of all analysis is to detect the right direction of the market trend and find the best entry point."
Please do not be surprised if customers and potential customers doubt your integrity with things like this happening. Also posting back tests with months missing on it and not updating the site to advise people of this etc etc.
Thank you for your time,
Maestro..

An "Expert Advisor" can be independently back tested and generates it's own signals independent of the vendor's server. FxPapa is a "signal service" like many others out there, plain and simple. Please issue me a refund...

Dear Maestro
You are right. The EA reads the signals from our server. We are working on the SL issue. It will be ready this Sunday.

What I find funny, or amusing, is if you told the truth from the start FXPAPA, that its a signal service, and you accepted a drawdown every now and then, you would still have a great product, and would likely sell twice as many. But now you are scaring everyone away, purely from being dishonest about the real risk with this account, and from not mentioning its a signal service on your website. Strange business logic.
Anyway, Im really sorrry for those of you that purchased it. I hope fxpapa will give you your deserved refunds.
Peace out.

Maybe, maybe not.. It is not uncommon for it to have periods of inactivity...
Or maybe vendor stopped signals until Stop Loss issue is fixed.

Hello FxPapa,
If I understood correctly, in the previous version, if we had an account with 1000$ and risk set to 10, the EA would open 0.10 lot positions and the SL would be if the positions would reach a 200$ (20%) total open drawdown. Right?
In the new, 2.1 version, how does this work? The same example, 1000$ account. Risk_Percent set to 10 (default). I suppose now the SL will be 10%, in this case 100$ total open drawdown. And what size will be the positions opened by the EA? Should be 0.05 lots, to keep the lot size/SL proportion.

Dear Alec
For your example the lot size would be 0.05, the max DD would be 100$.

FXPapa, can I ask what you specifically mean by "fixing stop loss issue"?
I dont see what the "issue" was. Please clarify.
What it seemd like, very clearly, is that your forward test did NOT close the trades when the 30% open trade DD was hit.
Period. What is complex about that, or is an "issue" that can be corrected?
This suggests that you in fact had the risk setting set much higher than the 15 you claimed (you actually SAID it was 15% but if we give you the benefit of the doubt and say you meant to say risk of 15 which would be 30%) or off completely, because several users reported that their live versions DID close at the proper level where their risk was set at. So the EA doesnt have an "issue" that any of the observers can see, you simply have an issue telling the accurate truth about where your live demo account here's actual risk setting. But please clarify and correct me if I'm wrong, Im very confused. This is especially disturbing because your last grid system cyber forex also blew up, so your honesty is pretty important for anyone think of purchasing the EA and running it on live money.

OK but you didnt answer my question.
Why did the account tracked on here (your vendor account) NOT close the positions at 15% loss, when the users running live DID?
What is the explanation? What "issue" caused this?

I would like to understand this as well. How did this account float the recent DD from 151.5% down to 107.5% without closing any trades? Please explain in terms of settings and whether you intervened. Thanks. Results still look very good, but we need to understand them in terms of the EA's settings to set expectations. Right now things aren't matching up. I, for one, would want to know that if I set the risk to 10, that means that it will close all trades if the floating DD reaches 10% of my account balance. It doesn't make sense to me for risk of 10 (i.e. 10%) to actually mean 20%, etc.

Im still waiting for these answers from last week, but its being avoided so far... so make that 3 people that want to know!
To be totally honest, I think they intervened so that the drawdown wouldnt show, and to make more sales as equity curve looks better (as everyone else got stopped out).

Yes, I have repeatedly asked for a refund, which has so far been denied. This vendor is a dishonest fraud who's trying to steal our money. He misrepresented his product as an "expert advisor" when it is actually a signal service, and now he refuses to issue a refund. So I will now start spreading this message to every forex forum I can find. Don't waste your time and money buying anything from this crook! 😡

I will now file a "fraud" case with my credit card company. I will get my money returned one way or another. And I hope everyone reading this "discussion" will spread the word far and wide about what a crook this guy is!

rgmann stay cool, this is not the first EA you tried to find out how bad some marketers do there work. btw i saw at one tradingfriends account also 3 positions closed in negative. He was also shocked when he searched here and the trades running smooth without closing any order. i think the developer use manual tricks or other settings as he sell to the clients. I need to look a bit deeper in this signal-EA with my guys and let you know ;-)
cheers
