I have to admit the customer service with MDP is great. I just got am email saying it was back up. William also said to lower the risk because the market is choppy due to the Euro debt crisis and the holidays. I appreciate him getting back to me with an update and some words of advice.

That email must have been sent to everyone. I got it too. And MDP is running (or watching), again.

MDP problem can be solved.
I have found MDP complete strategy. I want write its EA by myself. MDP ea needs to connect its serever to verify license and this make a traffic. but if u write its ea u would'nt have such a problem.

Hmmm. Well.....having the fastest execution is not always the best. I got ALL the trades at the correct prices. Overall.....was about breakeven.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

do you think copying other peoples strategies and work from its original code good idea. MDP can work or not. but copying its algo from its original code is not good idea. just respect others people work and spendings eıther money or time for creating the system.

The way I see it, if he owns a copy there is nothing wrong with looking at the code....as long as he isn't selling it to other people, or giving it to people who don't own it already.

and there is nothing illegal or unethical to reverse engineer the algorithm without disassembling the actual code, just by looking at the results of its work. If this algo is not patented (I bet it isn't) then it would be perfectly legal to sell it too.

ps that being said, I am myself fine with the product as it is, however I would want to have a version for FIX protocol to trade with an institutional access, and I would like a small configuration twist to be had. I think I will contact William to see if he can produce at least a private version with a tweak I want for some extra dough.

he is telling to code a copy of it without verification. it is enough difficoult while code has a DLL extension but even if he is trying to do it, he can do it without publishing it here. and the logic is not secret MDP is using BBands.

Personally, i think it is too bad that people are so untrustworthy that there is a need to do all sorts of encryption and protection to keep people from stealing it. I would much rather MDP could be distributed as the raw mql4 file and people would put it in their folder and mt4 would compile it for them.....without the author needing to worry about people stealing it and not paying for it, or worse, calling it a different name and selling it as their own work.
