moutaz, I've done my best to explain this to you including examples. This is how our technology works, and it's entirely up to you to keep trading with us or not. If you do not understand the procedure it is only because you refuse to understand this for whatever reason.
There is always a small percentage of clients who cannot be satisfied because they have different needs than what we are able to offer. We are working to make sure that all of our clients happy, and for now this is the case. Unfortunately with you it doesn't seem to be so and it is regrettable. We however cannot change our technology or business model just because one trader out of tens of thousands isn't happy.

Good luck with the contest.

i'm not dying to trade with your company that's for sure

i understand very well the actions taken and what it meant from it
and who cannot see well the truth then that's his own risk
for now i have nothing to lose from participating in a contest even if the broker s.....ks

anyway i'm not trying to make excuses for losing in a demo account, but i think many guys here have the same opinion as i do
and no one of us will lose except the one who do not know how to market himself and try to saticfy clients

thank you

Nothing to say, but FxOpen has no professional work at, sadly.

Hi All, I'm Ben, FXOpen's representative to this forum.

Our MT4 ECN bridge is completely unique, and if you tested it in live environment you know it's the real thing. Unfortunately MT4 wasn't originally designed to work with ECN orders and liquidity and therefore we had to make several adjustments.

How unique???? a lot of requotes?? invalid prices?? pending / market positions can't be set?? or the high slippgae ( I would say the highest so far I've seen in my fx life)??

FYI, there are some great brokers run MT4 with ECN, that proves the opposite of what you mentioned.

The problem is not the MT4, but the broker himself and there are a lot of proofs on that issue.

One of these workarounds is called Margin Trigger and this function is responsible for the small credit in and credit out some users experience when trading.
I refer you to this page https://www.fxopen.com/ECNForexTrading.aspx (scroll till you see Margin Trigger) which explains how this function works in more detail.

I believe that your ECN is not real since there is no exact valid price for any market position or execution for a position even in the normal market conditions. I can tell that when clients place positions, they al go through a dealing desk where someone (reps) enter the position to the real market. I'm sure you already know that, and that's what market makers do.

<quote>

Dear Falk and moutaz - I understand that what you see in your accounts is new to you, but so must be the whole MT4 ECN and it is a bit different than the usual market making MT4 you must have been experiencing with your current brokers. Please note that this function is only triggered once you have insufficient margin and the market moved against you.

Please refer to the following example to understand this in more detail:

You opened a position - buy EURUSD. Now you would like to add a limit order to buy more EURUSD, for example 1 lot. When trying to put such limit order system checks if there is enough margin to add this limit order (as all limit orders uses same margin as it is in the market because it appears in market depth). If margin is sufficient llimit order can be opened.
Now let's consider a situation where the market goes against you and margin in your account is already insufficient for the order to be opened but we however at our clearing accounts in the marketplace have enough. If we don't credit your account then your order will not be executed in MT4 but will be executed at our clearing account with ECN. That is why we credit execatly the amount which you require to execute your order and then immediately take it out. To avoid such
situations you should follow proper money management and try not to be over-leveraged in your trading.

Please feel free to post any additional questions you might have here or email me directly at cmo [@] fxopen . com

I don't know what else to say, but the whole thing is nonesense, and that indicates a none professional work by any mean. How do you expect traders deal with broker?? :(

For me, never ever trade with this company at all. Demo trading is only for practice, and that's it.

FxOpen is a mirage company. They change their registration every few months and they're not regulated. While I was reading their customer agreement I almost felt from the chair: https://fxopen.com/Download.aspx?name=customer_agreement.pdf

I actually still can't understand where is their central office currently: Mauritius, Panama, Egypt, Cyprus, Russia or.... I don't know. Their current agreement is governed by the laws of Panama which is no good for the customer.

i think it's 'my fxbook' in the first place mistake
they should learn about the broker before launching any new competitions because this harms their reputation in the first place

That's exactly what I wrote when the first contest was running. As long as we cant compete on i.e. Alpari UK or GOmarkets AUS these contests are pointless.

Scarface - it's ironic how paid bloggers such as yourself never actually do their homework before trying to badmouth other brokers you are paid to badmouth. What broker do you work for?

Our ECN is as real as it gets, tested by thousands of independent traders, and aside of a few biased 'traders' such as yourself there were never complaints about it 'not being real'. If you have proofs it's fake please post them here or anywhere else on the internet. We both know the only thing you have is a keyboard and lots of fake negativity.
The feed is coming from one of largest liquidity providers in this market who is also using our software itselfl. If there was even a slight suspicion something is wrong this feed would have been disabled long time ago.

I won't comment on other brokers' 'MT4 ECN', but I can only say this: what they advertise is not always what it is, most of them lack sufficient liquidity to actually provide real ECN.

And lastly, how do I know you lie? There are no requotes on ECN. You never even tested this platform and just scream the only thing you know even if it makes no sense.

My advice to you: don't quit your day job to become a paid blogger.

As for the rest of you, as I said, you are entitled to your own opinion though from reading comments here it seems you either had a prejudiced opinion against the company for whatever reason or formed it based on your inability to profit on ECN just like you maybe profit on market making demo accounts, where it's easier but it doesn't reflect the real market. With us, it's identical.

well well, look who is talking here !! Traders know who I'm and I don't need to hide myself like you do. I'm not as you think. I work for my own, and have my own believes on you S...C...A...M... brokers.

it could be real prices, but not real positions and executions. Most of the times prices are invalid... and other mess all around.
About this statement 'tested by thousands of independent traders', what ?? you think we are kids to play with us this game??
You are contradicting yourself by yourself. You've already read the complains in this contest regarding your GREAT ECN platform, and you have written as well that there are some troubles with it, and at last you give some nonesense excuses ... Come on, step up a little, man.

oh really ??!!! I didn't know that 😝. I deal with two ECN brokers since 6 months more or less, and I'm making good money and no complain about them so far. If they don't have sufficient liquidity, then who does??? FxOpen does....!!! c*ap.

😎 look like you are a newbie in Fx market and don't know what you are saying. Respectively, requotes is essential at any broker, but not all times like the broker you work for. Check the high slippage at your ECN 'it looks for me you never even traded your ECN MT4 😈, did you?' and then talk about how great your ECN MT4 is ...

well, even if you keep writing whatsoever c*appy comments about your broker and how great your ECN MT4 is, there is no way someone believes you. Only idoits do. At least the demo account show how bad trades go. Even with a powerful EA, it never able to open trade on time even in the normal market conditions.

P.S, your spreads go high most of the times at ECN MT4 more than the other MT4 normal account :)

There is no place for s>c>a>m>s here or there. we are going to stop you by riasing awarness to everyone especially the newbies that you always target.

Scarface - all of your 'answers' are only personal statements without any proofs. You are the one trying to fool people here because you've got your own paid agenda.

I repeat - there's no such thing as requotes on our MT4 ECN.

Until you do supply a viable argument, backed by some kind of proof, there's nothing much new I can tell you here.

Good luck in your trading.

hi,

why FXOpen (in contest) has deliberately shut the orders that have gone to another account in profit?
better than yesterday & stronger than before

I think that this FxOpen ECN account is a total bullshit.
In first has no meanig speaking about liquidity on demo account.
Demo orders don't go on market so I don't understand why simulate a filling on real liquidity.
In second, if this is the real liquidity of the ECN FxOpen account is better to don't use for trading in real.
If I can't use the account for automated trading due to these serious fast execution time lacks and I should use the ECN account only for manual trading I'll prefer a real good broker like Dukascopy or something else based on Currenex.
