Dont break whats not broken ...
Sooo, a system with a rr of 1:25, only about 125 trades so far and a sl which blows your acc if you have the same settings as the vendor is good? Even worse you'll never see the sl getting hit because the sl is set at 140%+ drawdown!
You may also notice that they blew up acc's in the past and then just stopped any service - came back with a new name and slightly modified system.
Yeah im fine with that, as long as it makes money :P

Exactly 10 for me, minus one pip for commission. I have used hotforex a year ago. They are a good broker. But, I prefer FxPrimus.

Hi Guys,
I bought this EA a few weeks ago and I have an issue with risk percentage change(lots). I can't change it as everytime I do that and press OK, when I open that settings window again it remains the same. Contacted both sphantom services and IBFX, none of them could help. Maybe somebody have any ideas?

What i mean is if sphantom does not to change the main core of this EA, but still able to achieve the good result, then it would be great to close slightly a few pips lately.

@ProActiveT: in 2 months using Hotforex FixAccount and their VPS never had problems. Only 1 time I got less than 10 pips, otherwise always 10.0 pips, like a swiss clock.

@Don_P: change the settings NOT in the left window list but clicking the right button on the graph, then select expert and change your settings.

Hi Don,
what is the value you trying to enter?
most probably this value is defined as a real value on the EA code. try to enter 10.0 or 30.0 and it should work

Hi Don. I had the same problem but even if the window was always going back to the original value, the risk percent was actually changed for real. Try to save with the value you want and do not reopen the window and check your lot size on next transaction.

Hi Don. I had the same problem but even if the window was always going back to the original value, the risk percent was actually changed for real. Try to save with the value you want and do not reopen the window and check your lot size on next transaction.
did you see any message in the MT4 log window or expert window?
did you try to save the config to a set file, close, reopen the config window and load the save set config instead of typing the numbers?

I am tired of seeing the accusations like this. I have followed this thread a couple of weeks before I decided to buy sPhantom. Man, come on! If you have the proof, put it out so that we all can see it and act according to it.
Don't have a proof? Aren't you ashamed of accusing someone with what he/she did not do? I live with the rule "innocent until proven guilty".
I am currently happy with this EA. It may wipe out my account in the future, but that's the risk that we all accepted to enter this field of Forex.
I would like to thank all who shared their info, experience and criticisms for peer review of this EA. Good day all!

I would suggest Dukascopy or FxPrimus. Both are pretty good brokers.

On some pc it might not work to install metatrader in progam or program68 directory. There is in issue with "UAC" rights about
I always install NOT in program(68) folder but in normal directory, because metatrader directory will be written all the time with open files what is not a normal thing for pure program files. The save option might fail ?! Look into "experts" and "journal" tabs anyway to make sure no errors occur.

Dukascopy isn't really committed to MT4. They just recently started using it and it is provided by a bridge. There's been a lot of problems with bridges and most brokers got rid of them a couple years ago.

I would never suggest a broker. Even the big guys go down sometimes and if today's wunderkind is tomorrow's bankrupt bucket shop, I don't want to have led anyone there.

Id love to see an actual ea (not a signal) with a strategy-setup close to this! I calculated a SL of 166.6' and a risk of 15-25 should be just fine. Id also set a TS to 11 pips with a starting distance of 1 pip - fast increasing the distance at first; slower over time; asymptote at 5 or so.
