I added a position in sell so i i'm in balance (concerning the loss :( )
open pos BUY 2*0.2

If going down i will win or be equal.

Well, unemployment numbers and Advance gdp q/q came in. Not good for USD, so this trade might turn around for you.

i closed manually with 200$ loss. This is less than profit yesterday (other EAs) and less than i earned with sphantom.
I will reinstall the Customer Version with SL and choose smaller Lot size.

I think its a bad idea, first because its too early to diagnose the result and second because you will not recover your losses...
imagine if you lower the risk of an EA because of 1 loss (which is part of the game) you will never recover and make it profitable.
in fact I'll raise the risk after a drop when I know that the EA is very stable to recover quickly (for sure its riskier in case of 2 consecutive losses...)

Such big drawdowns are not common here. The biggest one was at about 64% according to stats. This one at 50% is biggest for me personaly from day I started to monitor this stats. So in pips it is about 100 from first entry.
Other thing to consider is to simply to switch off such ea day before important news. But eur or usd news are comming almost every day...

Willgard, tha problem is that if you are going to accept loss as it is now (200 mental pips), you will never cover it by profit.

Guys, after having seen many times this weird behaviour of trading right before red news the lesson should be ONE: always check the red news every week on myfxbook calendar (you may even set an alert) and turn off this EA in time, otherwise it's pure gambling. This week there were more than 10 red news about USD and I didn't let it trade at all!

We must diversify our Eas and trade copier. Let's share our opinions. I have good impression from WSFR and some signals on Mql5! what about you? i was also tempted to buy Volatilty factor (ihave good discount from the vendor). In any case i will stick with Spahantom. For experience the worst thing to do is to leave a strategy when it goes in drawdown, because if the strategy is good it must recover from drawdown! There is no strategy or Ea which does not experience a drowdown! What you think?
