Mozambique Interest Rate Decision
Interest rate decisions are decided by the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Mozambique, which is the country's central bank and is responsible for setting the country's interest rates (Banco de Mozambique). At the moment, the official interest rate is determined by the interbank money market rate (taxa do Mercado Interbancario Mozambicano, MIMO). In force from April 10th, 2017, it has completely replaced the standing lending facility rate (taxa de juro da facilidade permanente de cedência), which was previously in effect.
Hodnoty vyšší, než se očekává, by měly být považovány za pozitivní (býčí) pro MZN apod očekávané hodnoty by měly být považovány za negativní (medvědí) pro MZN.
