(RTTNews) - The Reserve Bank of New Zealand will wrap up its monetary policy meeting on Wednesday and then announce its decision on interest rates, highlighting a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The RBNZ is widely expected to keep its Official Cash Rate unchanged at 5.50 percent.
Australia will provide Q3 data for construction work done, with forecasts suggesting an increase of 0.3 percent on quarter following the 0.4 percent gain in the three months prior.
The central bank in Thailand will conclude its monetary policy meeting and then announce its decision on interest rates. The bank is widely expected to keep its benchmark lending rate steady at 2.50 percent.
