During yesterday’s session the EUR/USD remained close to unchanged and was trading within a narrow range. At the end of the session the euro managed to add just 7 pips to close at 1.1087. Still the negative sentiment prevails. Support is seent at 1.1045 and resistance is located at 1.335.

Last Friday sent the EUR/USD pair to lower levels and today is staying in muted mode. Anyway Friday’s low at 1.1044 is within the supposed sideway range. Any possible euro bears’ efforts will run across the key resistance at 1.12 area.

The euro continued to lose ground against the dollar for a third straight session on Friday. The good data on the new jobs in US contributed to increased volatility and ultimately the euro depreciated by 40 pips to a closing price of 1.1087. Currently the 100 MA acts as a support, but a possible breakthrough would lead to 1.1045 and would reinforce the negative attitude.

In early trading hours the trend was neutral, but the direction was changed in the afternoon and the pair reached intraday high at 1.1196.

The euro traded within 1.1029 and 1.0981 over a three-week bottom, and ultimately lost 7 pips to 1.1012. The single currency started the week with a moderate growth of 28 pips to 1.1074. The daily movement marked a one-week low at the level of 1.1037, then the price has recovered to 1.1083. EUR/USD continues to trade within a familiar zone once a day as a breakthrough of levels at 1.1185 or 1.1020 will indicate the prevailing sentiment.
