Remember the chart patterns, how prices move throughout the day, and the reasons that correspond with price fluctuations. Learning about companies you don't intend to trade or bigger economic developments that have no bearing on your main stocks will require time you don't have.

From my experience with the brokers, I suggest FP Markets, It has been regulated since 2005 and its a trusted global CFD and Forex broker.I prefer them because of the tight spreads and quick responding customer support team.

I prefer the MT4 because I scalp trade with FP Markets using currency pairs such as EURUSD and GBPUSD with lower spreads of 0.1–0.3 pips.

You can try CMC or FP markets they are good regulated brokers with spreads averaging around 0.1-0.3 pips for most parts of the day.

I agree that EURUSD is a much more volatile pair than any other I've traded, but with the right broker, you can make a consistent profit with this currency pair.

My personal suggestion is FP Markets because I have been trading with them for a year, their ECN spreads are really tight (averages 0.0 pips in EURUSD), and the commission per lot is also lower when compared with other similar ECN brokers.

My recommendation is FP Markets. They are regulated by ASIC and have been in business for over 15 years. They also have CYSEC and an offshore licence (for people who worry about leverage restrictions in the future) I've been trading with them for over a year now, their trading conditions & customer support have been great.

Both have their own advantages. The MT4 is mostly used by currency traders due to its simple user interface, and the MT5 is used for multi-purpose trading like stocks, commodities, and currency trading, since the MT4 can only be used for currency trading.

For newcomers, it is preferable to choose a broker that is regulated and provides a free demo account that does not expire soon, as well as proper customer service, because in the beginning, beginners will require assistance from customer service to resolve certain queries. I suggest my broker, FP Markets, because they have an excellent customer service team and their demo account expires only when not used for a certain period.

I do agree with Daniel993 that it is better to trade with a higher entity broker regulated by ASIC or FCA such as ICM or FP Markets.They are also one of the oldest brokers active for over 12 years in the forex business, commission costs and spreads are competitive with other similar ecn brokers.

I currently scalp using FP Markets ECN account, the spreads are tighter starting from 0.0 pips in most major pairs, especially in EURUSD. The spreads are stable even during volatile market conditions. The commission cost per round lot is only $6 with an execution speed of 80 ms, which is faster than my previous brokers.

For lower spreads and commission costs, I recommend trading with FP Markets because it offers lower commission costs than other ECN brokers and when trading with EURUSD or other major pairs, the spreads start from 0.0pips with an execution speed of 80ms.
