Run a speedtes.net (probably you know that). The final speed or ping doesn't matter right now, but If result chart has waving... or sometimes dropping to low, means your internet connection has the issue (Firewall, PC, Wifi - router )

If it's happening at London or NY session, I think one of your indicator, script or EA causing that. Try to reinstall your MT4, or separately install a new MT4. Also, I would check my Antivirus or FireWall. When they checking incoming data use to block some ports for a few seconds. Except if you are using MAC :)

Hi Ozzie, I would be appreciate if you can give me correct information of IC markets :) .. I was very planning to open an account with them again. (years ago I'v got account on IC but at news time their servers was freezing... , however I know that they 'got new server and connections) :) ... so I'm thinking about it. I also have FxPro but cTrader is faster and more accurate than MT4 by FxPro... so I'm just using cTrader with them. Pepperstone: MT4 server 3 and server 5 are fast enough and not freezing. Hi Ozzie, Are you still measuring the brokers (accounts) spreads at news event? Do you have the Quantina Straddle or After News trader? It has spread and latency meter, I would share with you my results on Pepperstone and FxPro accounts. (live) :) thanks, Plexy

Not yet... sorry.Our plan is to run all our system on one single "perfect" account which is good for News Trading , Scalping, and also Trend follow trading with breakout systems.... Brokers are under competition. Sorry for the long delay.

FXCM is great. For this EA or for this strategy you need better connection , low latency, and ECN type of account. Also, if you test an account with 0.01 lot size it's usually different than with 1 lot. Reason: doesn't worth for the broker. I've tried fixed spread with LQD Markets many years ago... it was quite alright, but they changed there server for a worst one. I've got a few positive feedback of FxPrimus fixed spread account (regarding news trader) , which is similar than IC Market. But i'm still not sure about fixed spread account..... too much slips, freezing execution. News Trading (straddle) strategy is quite alright but 'm struggling with technics. (speed, slips, spreads, latency, VPS...etc) . I do not believe in technical trading for long term. iTrend EA: I've used the iTrend Indicator only. It was...

Hi Ozzie :) , my apologise... it's one week only :)) sorry :) On live account the Candle High Low EA and SessionTrader should give you different result between demo and live. They are not broker sensitive. News Trader EA it is. I've checked my version of News Trader EA and my one is " f " version. You should ask an update from Quantina which could be free......but i'm not sure. VPS in NewYork for MT4 server is the perfect for Pepperstone. I did trade on NZD (interest rate) yesterday :))) even if it was a 47 pips slippage (pepperstone) i'm still happy with the profit :...

That's not bad (53% Profit in a half month) :) We have to leave it for public this strategy for a while to compare with others ... It's always like that to determine bugs before Quantina will officially release. Also i can get some bonus :)So, Session Trader: I guess 1 pips away would be better, much as you can do to adjust time. Also, my observation is to use this EA more intense if there are a lot of high impact news events on that week. When there are no scheduled high impact news events market is always unpredictable for me :) Candle High Low EA is nearly 100% profit for me back in...
