Refreshed my account to remove some bad drawdown in early days. Hey guys,Are there any places where actual real traders hang out without the idea they have to push their signals in front of everyones face, or an ebook or some kind of fund?Just somewhere people hang out and discuss forex and life in general. Im getting fed up of reading fake brokers and insane 500% per week returns with 1% drawdown 😁.Also similar on youtube - anyone that isnt an 18 year old buying his latest fast car making 100k a day with MT4 screenshots?Thanks in advance

My method is combination of two things - scalping initially but I have a swing trade strategy if it doesn't go to plan. Worst case I then have a stoploss plan hence the big drop mid port. Stoplosses are rare but Corona brought those freak events :P

Ive been in groups like this but if you disagree with the methods they promote you are swiftly kicked. I was in one a few weeks back and the owner was telling people to go Long on a certain coin - despite it being obvious short and upcoming news confirmed this. Most users got wrecked and I was right. I was removed and told to not challenge their choices.The groups are commonly just used as an advertising tool for their tools - in this case his patreon and youtube at a guess. Wonder if we could make one without another motive - just purely for myfxbook community if there isnt one?

I met most these guys through another larger community group for cryptocurrency. Ww all used the same tool before and got to know each other well. Ive met a similar network of people in tradingview chat box for forex too.

I talk to alot of people on Telegram, I have a few small groups we talk in but restricted to us only as we share very close ideas.Ive been looking for a large telegram group but most are just selling crap signals and "education" none are just there for community.

They are quite popular and one of the larger brokers - reason I chose them was because of connectivity into tradingview, helps me alot. Its one of their recommended brokers.

Im no where near an expert or knowledgable but understanding patience and consistency was the moment I finally started to turn a profit.The main issue is trading is emotional and a lot of people invest too much exposing themselves. I found in the recent crypto boom a lot are getting into the markets on credit cards and debt, this is making it incredibly stressful for them.I was very similar back in 2014, which at the time was stupid as hell.
