Hi Statman thats what I'm worried about.Just hope Dustin sorts this before opening on Sunday night here in the UK. Love Tom's ea but to be honest with the amount of money spent this should not happen, but lets hope it's only a blip.

That would help us, until everything back and running ok. Hopefully I should be ok until, the weekend but looks bad for Sunday onwards and having a number of baskets open.We will see

Hi AllJust received this from DustinHello Chris,I want to give you an update on where we stand with Toms EA. In usual fashion I will be completely transparent in order to ensure you know exactly where we stand with things and what we intend to do.After an all nighter this is where we stand. The server which the TomsEA site and authentication mechanism runs on was pretty much a complete loss. I am not a tech guy but the way it was explained to me is that one of the 5 drives crashed and while rebuilding itself the array was corrupted. For some reason or another a backup was not done on this mac...

HI AllHoping Dustin will read this.I use Ultrahosting VPS which closes down the platform for maintenance every Sunday. Therfore, I can see a number of issues for potential subscribers if the server is not up and running by the start of trading after the weekend.Can you confirm when you say even not authenticated the ea will still manage trades, does this mean that if there is a basket and another trade needs to open within this basket it will do so or are left hoping and praying? Also if I have to restart my platform, when I place Toms ea on this will this be enough for it to mange the open...

Hi GuysJust a quick note to say how impressed I've just been with Ivan the support he as just given me. He as now sorted this out for me and he was on the remote help for over one hour. Great support.Thanks again Ivan

Hi PaulrozzaThanks for your reply. I've checked my files and the ex and dll in Toms folder are the same as in my meta trader (latest version). I've managed to re establish the 1.88 version but unsure what to do next. Wondering if they may release an upto date version without the glitches.Concerned if I try to update again I will have to go through the whole reinstall just to try and esatblish a connection with the old version.I do realy like this ea, but i am very annoyed that support did not anticipate the problems we are finding and have left us to our own devices.

Hi GuysJust tried the update, now its stating still 1.88 version, no smiling face cannot unattach or place on new chart a complete mess. Very Very annoyed. sent ticket with all these open trades. The dll files look like they updated but when i restart mt, it just shows version 1.88 still, any ideas, Support as normal is not there

Hi Trading ShedI'm with Ultra hosting and I had the same problem back in November and they said the same. Since then, I have found out that ultra hosting do some maintenence on the server at weekends. So on a Sunday night (i'm in UK) i log on and if need be restart toms ea. This as resolved my issue.Hope this helps.

hi, as mentioned I only have the eur/usd but have kept it running, only experienced D/D of 6% a week ago, but recovered to make profit. If you just follow the Money management and the rules they give you, you should be fine.

My Experience is I went live with a smallish account on 1st Nov, i only use eur/usd on setting 2. In November I made 11%, December is a lot quiter for obvious reasons but look like making 6%. Best ea I have ever bought. Small but steady growth.

I have noticed that a eur/usd basket was closed at 1.3080. Was this closed manually? I have this basket still open with a TP at 1.3087.

Apologies fughe, you may have got the wrong end of the stick.I've been a member of Tom's ea since Nov but in the members area I follow the primary stats results and they have not been updated since 12th Dec, If this account is not yours I apologise.Can a moderator please explain why the primary myfxbook stats link in the members area has not been updated since the 12th Dec please?Cheers
