I fully agree with you. Its laughtable when some guru tryes to make prediction like he has magic crystal ball.Also my approuch is similllar to yours. I do not care where it moves. There is always an opportunity if you dont try to be a sidecick and predict something.Regarding VSA I was just explaining why news dont give you the edge and what drives the market. Also I know a guy able to detect smart money activity and then go with it. Best regardsM

Actually there is a method to read the markets. Its called VSA (Volume spread analysys).Most sucesfull trader I know is using it. It basically compares volume of candle with range and type of the candle.Premise is that smart money cannot hide themselves because of super high volumes on some candles. Range of candle and subsequent movement, will tell you about they intention.Method is very effective and works even better on stock.But guess what ? Most of the times big news are included in price before they are released. Marked makers have superior acess to information and they are able to incorporate them into the price based on weakness/strength in the background.Next thing is acummulation and distribution.To Acumulate capital ,market makers need to use negative/positive news - they are either fabricated or taken advantage of. I know exactly who do you mean and I completely agree with you.Double top/ bottom patterns are old as market itself. All the patterns have one thing in common, when using as stand alone signals they are almost entirelly random. As soon as the pattern is clearly visible, lot of people notice it and market makers take counter measures to break the signal. It takes a lot more than random pattern to get some edge.Also, if someone claims to trading against crowd, they shouldnt be that dumb to blindly follow trend on the worst price for the last 10 years, at some of the strongest supports that laste...

Very good observation on my system crocodile. I do not claim it to be perfect its up to investor to decide. But explanation is simple. It has been traded manually at different broker, coming to new broker i didnt have time for it so I launched it agains as semi automatic EA last week. Also nothing changes. It still opens same trades with same rules. Those rules include two levels of liquidation - immediate and long term that may last months or years. So rules were not bent my friend.Simple enough ?

You are absolutelly correct. Even though , there are some traders here just flashing they useless knowledge while still blowing demo accounts.For me it is important that strategy survived 2008 and last couple of months on USD and JPY.Also investable trader should also trade own money of minimum lets say 50 000 USD. Psychology of trading becomes different where there is lot to gain and lot to lose. Also I agree on trading more instruments. System should be more or lesss universal anshould apply on all the markets. Trading same system is questionable. I believe in ability to adapt and bent the r...
