FVG is quite simple if we don’t overcomplicate it. It’s just showing where price moved too fast and left imbalance. But the mistake is treating every gap as a trade. Context matters a lot, trend, higher timeframe levels, and how price reacts when it comes back. Without that, it’s just a zone on the chart, not a setup.

Both revenge trading and FOMO come from the same place, reacting instead of following a plan. After a loss, revenge trading tries to fix it quickly, while FOMO makes you chase moves you already missed. In both cases, you’re no longer trading your setup. It feels justified in the moment, but over time it just leads to inconsistent results and deeper drawdowns.

Things like fast order execution, minimal slippage, strong fund protection (cold storage, 2FA), and reliable uptime during high volatility are critical. I don’t think AI can consistently outperform experienced traders on its own. It’s powerful for speed, data processing, and spotting patterns, but markets aren’t purely logical as they’re driven by sentiment and unexpected events too. Most AI systems struggle with changing conditions and overfitting. In my view, the real edge is in combining AI insights with human judgment rather than relying on it completely.

The volatility was a bit too much for me, so I decided to stay out. From what I saw, crypto didn’t really give clean moves as there was an initial drop on the headlines and then a quick, messy recovery. It felt more like whipsaw than opportunity, and unless you’re used to that kind of environment, it’s easy to get caught on the wrong side.
