Hi Mark,Interesting system. How come you have paid only 3120$ of commission? When i look at your trade history we can see that for 40 lots, the profit for one pip will be 400$Example: 22.09.2016 01:00 22.09.2016 03:06 EURUSD Buy 40.00 - - 1.11914 1.11934 2.0 800.00$ 2h 6m 0.17%It seems that you pay very very low commission to your broker. Nice topic. If you are aiming 3% max loss per day, what would be then your daily profit goal? If it s +3%, you have to make a lot of trade to reach that profit since each order of first level gives you 0.1%. Or do you set a smaller daily target ?

Nice topic Kenneth.There is plenty of working strategies like that. It s just that you need to set a hard stop that won t affect too much your montly income. As well reduce your risk as much as possible, I believe a grid should start at 0.01 as initial lot for a 10k account.But you can run few similar EAs but on different pair not correlated. Example: You have a marti/grid EA working and generating 2% profit per month and a hard stop at 5% DD. You run it on 4 pairs not correlated. The result will be 4x2%=8% per month with extreme case scenario 4x5%loss. Of course the chance that all your 4 pai...

There is many strategies working very well and most of them if you go in low time frames like h1 or under, news will mess up everything. So instead of adding on top of those working strategies another strategy just for news days, I prefer to switch off my EA during news and everything remain fine.This post is a bit old now but, the conclusion I made concerning the subject is that I ALWAYS strictly switch off my EA/strategies during important news days (6 hours before until 6 hours after the impact) in order to be flat or exposure neutralized even if it has been done for nothing. Yes it works, there is many EA working since more than few years with consistent profit. It's just hard to believe for manual traders which is normal and of course those EAs are not for sale. We are on planet earth not dreamland ;-), why would you sell a profitable EA...

Most of the time even if you find a good EA, people will usually put the maximum of risk on it based on the back test they have run. Then one day the market will have change and their account will be blown.
