GBP/USD is relatively bullish and it may reach the resistance at 1.3320 yet again soon. It is unlikely that it will break out above it before the fundamentals later today though.

GBP/USD is still stuck in the sideways consolidation between 1.3030 and 1.3320. The fundamentals this week may finally end the consolidation but so far there is no signal that will happen.

After a few days of consolidation the shooting star candlestick at 1.1860 on the daily time-frame finally proved to be a valid signal for a move to the downside and the pair started falling. The closest target is likely around 1.1680, which is the (MA)89 indicator on daily time-frame.

EUR/USD started consolidating below 1.1800 before the market closed on Friday, the question now is whether it will keep rallying despite the shooting star candlestick on the daily time-frame at 1.1860 or there will be a new move to the downside.

EUR/USD bounced off from 1.1860 and considering the shooting star candlestick on the daily time-frame at that level it could retrace back to the support at 1.1670, but only a breakout below that level would mean that the overall move to the upside is over.

EUR/USD bounced off from 1.1860. Now the question is whether this is the end of the move to the upside or the pair will break out above that level. A breakout could lead to a new rally to 1.1900 or even to 1.2000.

EUR/USD bounced off from 1.1575 after forming a hammer candlestick and an inverted hammer candlestick on the daily time-frame at that level. Currently the pair is testing the resistance at 1.1665, a breakout above that level could lead to a move to the upside towards 1.1800.

EUR/USD briefly broke out below 1.1575 and formed a new low at 1.1555, but now the pair has retraced back above 1.1575 and continues to consolidate above that level. That said, there could still be a breakout to the downside and a drop to 1.1500.

Although the fundamentals caused a large move to the downside today EUR/USD continues consolidating sideways because there was no breakout below the support at 1.1575 and such a breakout likely won't occur before next week.

GBP/USD dropped sharply after the news that the Bank of England has hiked the interest rate from 0.25% to 0.50% but it still hasn't broken out below the support at 1.3030. The fundamentals tomorrow may give it the necessary push to do that.
