OK this is the last time I will repeat this.The trade was this opening a trade averaging in at multiple levels regardless of whether price was going up or down.Short term strategy traded same instrument thereby netting out (closing the position) and reopening it within a minute or so.Since at that point position was in drawdown it marked a loss at X times the pips for the multiple small positions. The single position was closed some weeks later at a profit which more than made up for the loss previously booked.The bottom line is MT4 is a retail platform and it counts stuff as separate position...

would caution you to make any conclusions on a tiny account like that.it's quite easy to do that on 1k. not same on 250k

wow you are a moron arent' you. where did i say i average in "larger". actually it was smaller and smaller. it's called averaging in. the bigger trade was a reopening of the closed multiple trades which i explained before.you seem to have comprehension issues.And for your information it wasn't even closed per se. As i trade on api the short term system netted that position out when i traded short term system and then reopened it at the same aggregate size when i exited my short term. Just the side effect of trading 2 platforms on one account.The long term trade itself was...

if you average in using multiple small positions and lose on that and then trade one big position equal in size to the aggregate small ones and win much more you will show negative pip count. which is what happened to me. XAU magnifies that because of the way myfxbook treats XAU (which they are fixing now based on my suggestions). nothing to do with martingale.

And if you knew any better you would keep quiet as I can make you eat that when I show you the statement.The XAU is calculated incorrect. pips are wrong thing to look at if you knew anything about anything with myfxbook. even a kid would understand you cannot lose pips but make money if this was calculated right.But you are the know it all here so let's keep quiet and listen to your sage advice.

All EAs blow up in the end. You think you can beat a quant that is coding in C++ with genetic algo libraries and neural networks and a budget of hundreds of thousands annually?MQL is laughably limited and the quote feeds you get through MT4 are laughable as well.Forget about it.

I have been following this thread with much amusement since I got automatically subscribed once I posted a few times.You guys are hilarious. Nobody will give you what you are asking for here because those that fulfill these criteria can get unlimited funds to manage themselves. And you still do not understand the meaning of libel I guess.Secondly anybody who knows anything about trading knows that it's not the strategy that makes the trade but the trader. You can have the same strategy be executed great by one trader and fail miserably with another. The very fact I do not have a loss on that trade but your friend does is testament to that.But I guess you are a "masterguru"...
