Actually we know that we need to test their credibility and reliability for a broker. I know its so simple to have here learn what are their payment methods and their customer satisfaction but its really risky particularly if we are new. So better to also consider those older brokers and most important are that they have forums that we can have discussion about their broker.

I believe not one broker can be best for all. Everyone has different expectations in relation to their account and in order to fulfill those, doing the research in the specific segments is necessary. I have been researching this by reading blogs. If anyone has the idea of more reading material online can provide me with suggestions.

My recommendation is FP Markets (ASIC regulated), mainly for 2 reasons.
Trading conditions - They have some of the lowest spreads in their ECN account, EURUSD averages 0.0 pips for most parts of the day.
Customer support experience: This is really their USP, they take the extra effort to help their clients. I would suggest other traders to try FP Markets as well.
Non-Australian traders are not allowed to use ASIC-regulated brokers. If the broker is still allowing you to open an ASIC-account with them although you're not from Australia then stay away! There've been a lot of complaints for ASIC-regulated brokers lately. It's just not allowed since January 2020.

I'm planning to open an account with FP Markets, Since I'm a scalper I'm thinking of opening a Raw Spreads account with them (ECN Pricing)
Is there any other hidden cost, apart from the Commission per Lot on their Raw Spreads account? Reviews from anyone currently trading with FP Markets would be appreciated.

Generally, for traders who are looking for stability with their trading price, brokers offering fixed or low spreads are the most preferred choice. You can use brokers like XTB, Coinexx, CMC Markets or Turnkeyforex as these are a few trustable options for traders with various experience levels. However, I prefer investing with Coinexx and XTB because they offer the best opportunity to earn profit with a low spread in a huge marketplace.

What about IC Markets?

I'm a new trader looking for a regulated and reliable broker to go live, did my research on broker and shortlisted HotForex, FXPro, IC Markets and FP Markets.
Any traders currently using or have used these broker, reviews on their spreads, commissions and reliability. MY Fx book
I use all 4 and they are all good. My preference is for IC markets in conjunction with Paybackfx. FP Markets is a close second followed by the other 2.

I can also vouch for FP Markets. I think it is not about finding the best broker, but it is about looking for the broker that suits your account and expectations very well. I always gave priority to keeping my account safe while focusing on the long-term trading. I currently have accounts with XTB, FP Markets and Fxview.

So far i'm trading with FXTM and XM, but also looking for a good broker that can offer a managed account with proven stable results.
Can anyone recommend such?
Actually, FXTM is ok for managed accounts. I have some 'throw-away' money with Alpari(they are the same company as FXTM) in a managed account that is doing ok.

That most probably depends on where you are from. If you're not from Australia you're not allowed (or it's not recommended) to use an Australian broker account. You need to have a look on your T&Cs which you'll get when opening an account on a broker. For example: on XM I can only choose between their IFSC or CySEC accounts. ASIC is not available for me. The same should go for IC Markets, FP Markets and so on. 😉

Given the number of brokers, its a tough task to choose a broker that suits a trader's needs. I have been trading since a good time with Turnkey forex and they have been able to live upto most of my expectations in pretty much all major aspects be it tight spreads, low commission or quick withdrawals. They've been a good choice by far.

Carlos122 posted:XM and Fxpro both have good spreads remain as low as 0.5-0.7 pips. Both are Cysec regulated. Though, i have seen spreads go wild during volatile session in fxpro, so searching for another broker. Another Cysec regulated broker i came across, fxview. Spreads on the website look good around 0.2-0.3 pips, will test them now, also keeping ICM in the list.
I mostly scalp in the Majors, Looking for a broker that offers really tight spreads and should be stable during high volatile market movements.
Any recommendations? Preferably regulated brokers only
