leverage is very useful but needs to use it wisely as it is a double edged sword and can make an impact either ways.

Leverage can be either useful or not depending on traders' perspective. If you know how to trade very well, then leverage is easier for you, if not, then it is dangerous for you.

Leverage is useful if you know how to use it. In fact, without leverage it's possible to trade forex for small investor. It is because of the leverage we can open good size lot. To open a .05 lot, you would need 5000$ cash.

Oh surely leverage is important. Because of leverage you can trade with lower money, if you need to. But the higher lewerage means the higher risks. So think about it.

High leverage doe not necessarily mean higher risk. As long as you know how much value you are investing, it is the same. Leverage just demand your minimum dollar to buy your product. Yet ultimately it is all the same the value of leverage of 100 or 500.

It all depends on how you trade, what style and how necessary it is in your situation.

If utliised properly with a sound risk management strategy then yes leverage is very important. The double edged sword nature of it though is that if your risk management is poor, you can blow your account quicker.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

Exactly this is what leverage is, with less funds it increases the chances of opening a higher position which eventually helps to make good profit.

Everything depends on your personal preferences. Some traers claim that leverages are very useful and they help you to generate big sums of money, others state that leverages are very dangerous and it's the easiest way to lose all your funds. I suppose that everything has its own advtantages and disadvantages. Leverages aren't an exception actually. To my mind, leverages are quite helpful for those traders who have solid experience in trading activity and want to try something new, because they can weigh all the risks before open a deal and decide whether this deal worths it or not. So, that's why leverages aren't for rookies.

The main thing here is to have work experience, otherwise you can only get a loss from all this ...
yes experience matters a lot, with experience you will get to know how much leverage you have to use because it also varies with trading instruments.

Leverage is useful, if trading without leverage, hence only rich traders will be able to open trades because trading will, based contract size,
and standard contract size 1 lot is $100.000 USD, it's not for retail traders

For using AutoTrade, is it necessary to match the leverage of the system you are copying? E.g. if the system is 1:500 and your max leverage is 1:30, is there any downside?

It can be useful but it also can be the source of absolute fail. It depends on your skill. Just like a hammer: you can build something with it or you can break your arm. Depends on you.

If used properly, Leverage can be really useful but one needs to know that leverage has a potential to magnify your profits as well as losses.
