Hello All, I just recently started trading again after taking a break.

I'm using forex.com and the spreads are just insane!

Can someone pls look at my screenshot and recommend a better broker that accepts clients from the US thanks!

Just talked to the broker and he said for example the EUR/USD spread is only 1.7, because one pip is .0001 so market watch in MT4 is misleading.

In any case, you will be at risk without it is impossible to trade forex. But I can say that with the broker Amarkets you have a chance to minimize this risk

The broker is a very essential subject for trading. If the broker's spread is good, many benefits can be gained. Market maker broker spreads are usually not good. Details about the broker should be known before investing in trading.

High spreads is the most disgusting thing in trading. To select a low spread broker you can visit those websites that provide broker reviews n their sites.

It is important to choose a broker who will provide services that will not particularly affect trading.

Well.. Spread eats profits, and destroys many otherwise good strategies. Move higher. Some Market Makers offer many other good features, like guaranteed stop loss, and zero negative balance. I wouldn't blindly stare at nominal spread, since there is also a phenomen called slippage, which is essentially a hidden part of the spread.

I can say that you can find a broker with lower spreads, this will be a significant plus for trading.

Spreads vary on market condition. Low and tight spreads are better which the broker provides.

Some broker offers fixed spreads. You can also review those.

To me floating spreads is good, if it's a zero spreads account. Though even in zero spreads account you will have some spreads but it's less costly than fixed spreads.

There are plenty of brokers nowadays actually and all of them offer exclusive conditions. It's difficult to help you to determine which broker will suit you most, beause every trader has his/her own needs in brokers. In your case you should pay attention to those brokers, which have tight spreads. However, if they have tight spreads, perhaps they will have commissions on withdrawals and transfers, because brokers also want to earn money. They offer you platforms for earning money, and you pay them back by commissions or spreads. So, here everything is difficult, but there are brokers with tight spreads I'm sure.
