Hi VipFX,

Out of curiosity, what's the reason for this account performing so differently from the other Ares accounts?

Hello
I found 2 reasons.
1. The Ares Logic usally closes some (not all) positions even short before the reach there target point (Secure profits). But this function is not working with FxOpen and therfore can keep positions open extra long (until targhet is reached). But I will find a solution with other parameters. It will take some time.
2. This was my mistake by using a too large Lot size, 2 pairs simultan, based on Account balance. In future I need to reduce lot size and use more conservative paramaters to reduce drawdown.

The system in general is very flexible to handle different conditions, but it takes times and real time market experience to narrow down the best suited parameters on some brokers. I hope the explanation helps.

Thanks for the reply.
1. Could it be due to the FXOpen 5-digit pricing as opposed to 6-digit?

I hope you manage to recover this account. If you would like some coding assistance, I should be able to assist, I'd love to brainstorm the problem.

4 or 5 digits broker are not a problem.
FxOpen has sometimes large spreads and therfore block the profit taking by the system. Also they do not allow trailing stops which are nearby, and nearby TP. But I do not worry about it as long there are other brokers with trader friendly enviroments. I may close the account soon and start a more conservative setup in a PAMM account at FxOpen.
Thanks for your offer to find the problem.

Good to know about the trailing stop limitation. I suppose you could set a soft TP in your code, and leave your trailing stop logic to operate as per normal, pushing the hard TP up via OrderModify(as I believe you do so now).

All the best for your PAMM account!
