Eleni. Thanks for the constant updates, and continue handling things the way that you do.. ignore any negative comments/suggestions as these are highly likely new traders. I have 8yrs experience in the forex market I've been through it all, and I agree with all the things you say about trading only when you feel it's the right time (your inner self knows when to approach) and especially your money management strategy... I can't believe I didn't think of that on my own. They say, you can flip a coin to decide what position you take on a trade and still be profitable as long as you have a solid money management strategy.

Slippage is INEVITABLE if you are trading larger lotsizes (eg. 10 Lots).
The higher your lotsizes, the more likely you will experience slippage.
Instead of trading one large account, consider breaking up your balance into multiple smaller accounts to keep your lot sizes small and reduce slippage.
Slippage will only get worse as more accounts and bigger money compete for limited liquidity during the Asian session. The LPs will fill you at whatever price they feel like.

I am only a new starter to the world of copying signals. Your trading plan and money management is superb and a clear winner. It is only deviations and change that sets the wheels of ruin in motion. Greased with an over dose of greed and the wheels soon spin out of control before falling off!

Having had many wheel shattering rides over time, and hard learnt and costly lessons, I appreciate only too well the dedicated and consistent trading skills required to turn a profit. You clearly have those skills - congratulations.

1. As Matt (blue panther) suggested, smaller lot sizes can attract slippage than larger lot sizes. Is that correct?
2. If that is the case, what is the lot size where slippage becomes something to be concerned about?
3. As this relates to the amount of equity in the account, at what equity value would it be worth trading on an additional account?
...............or is slippage more about the broker than the lot size?
............ and finally, (probably a dumb question) is a new subscription fee required for each new account that is opened or one fee for multiple accounts?

* I had to use a lower initial lot in that backtest in order to be able to complete it, because with my correct initial lot size the backtest was reaching 0 before the end of January!

Dear HAMSTER TURBO subscribers, all frustrated remarks and reviews are made in the morning, after we've all seen the completed action of EURUSD in the previous hours and we know that a succesfull position could have been opened. The difficult part is to make the trade or not decision, just before our trading hours, after a EURUSD rollercoaster ride that stopped right on the brink of 1.13 level, that if it had been broken, could collapse to much lower levels. Half of margin stop outs in my backtests are made after FED and ECB days, so with all those facts in mind I decided not to trade last night. Capital preservation is also part of my job and what you are paying me for, so I will continue manage this signal the best way I see fit.

I use second strategy (daily withdrawal), but I use 1/3 of the total capital, not 1/2 as suggested. In my calculations, the risk is not much higher compared to the first strategy, and the profit should be much greater.

I personally would be uncomfortable using 1/2 of my total capital. It would be to stressful to invest the second half (my whole capital at that moment) in the case of margin call.

That's a great strategy too Luka, many subscribers do something like that. Excellent choice!

I am little confused about the selection of the server for best performance. I used IC Markets Live15 server. On your suggestion, I switched to Live03 server. On Live15 my ping to server and signal was less than 2 ms, now it's more than 50 ms (!).

Also I noticed that looking to your signal page, there are two different spread values for Live03 server, one quoted as Live3, another as Live03 (but it's the same thing). Look at the image bellow.

So it seems I would be better off to have stayed on Live15. Unfortunately, mql5 allows only one change per week, so I am stuck with this for the next week...

Live03 server is a better choice, go for it for a while and see how it performs. Live03 and live3 is the same server, as I've checked with ICMarkets.

I would just to add a comment, not about the way 'Eleni' trades or how she is as a person & professional trader.

However there is one thing she has never stated, when the wolves are out in her defence, they get out their calculator and say well she has say 1200 subscribers at $45.00 and say she earns $54,000 per Month.

People that are having a go, well first off 'SignalStart' and 'MQL5' both take fees, so 'Eleni' does not get what most people are stating. Just saying my friends.

Perhaps this is related to Live15 being quite new, with less virtual servers running (less MT4 accounts), perhaps the data throughput is more efficient compared with Live3 which is one of the oldest and more established servers (more MT4 accounts and virtual servers)?

Think of the cable connections as pipes, and the data as the water flow. Established servers have more data (water) flowing through the cables (pipes) and this may detrimentally affect latency perhaps? I am not technical, but that is my guess.

How many pips did you get tonight? I got only 5 pips on my Signalstart Account out of 10 pips from Eleanna. :(
