I wish there was a poll functionality on this forum… It would be interesting to see the profile of contestants, years of trading experience, still learning(?), at demo trading stage(?), live trading(?) and for how long..
I myself am at the learning stage.
My question is:
There seems to be a lot of issues, but I wonder how that compares to live account trading with this or other broker. Is it as painful as this?

Thieves exist worldwide.
Many live here in Brazil where I live at least are smarter.
I started with 50K now I have only 15K per bill:
- Errors during the negotiation process;
- Commissions that kill EA Scalper working with large volumes and small margins;
- We used to test its new policy of charging fees and commissions without being properly prepared for it.
One lesson to take home:
"Do not put a penny on this broker."

I'm not a fan of FXCM at all, but I think there is a technical problem that arise to FXCM during the contest that they didn't expect.
This is the only reason that I can find for them.
Honestly, my account works well for open close my exclusive EA orders, but I noticed a strange thing, there are too many withdrawals in my statement! ... How this come? Also, Demo account have no withdrawals even if I request that !.
Anyway, I entered this contest only to have more time to watch my EA performance which is 62% profit at 20% DD.
I may be keep run my EA for other 2 or 3 days then I could leave for good ...

As I expected, FXCM just announced that !.
I believe this is not good for FXCM ... They must try to guarantee problems FREE for the new contests ... Good luck for all.

This contest deserves a boycott and an official apology by FXCM
to test a new system, FXCM must not abuse their customers

Guys seriousñy stop crying.. If you want to test a system out, then open a DEMO account yourself. Don´t attach your ËA¨ then cry when it goes all bad only to blame it on FXCM. I for one have traded on the FXCM live server about 3 months ago and the LIVE is much better then the demo.

You can also see the leader has 900% profit now... This time it is no joke. That is the power of over leveraging in a demo account while trading GOLD, and to think he still has a trade open with GOLD.

I was thinning this broker my good. but it is not. i never invest in here. server is very down. can not make 3-4 order or modify. even don't work with pending order. they are very loser.

This contest is full of mistakes and so many problems from FXCM side. Its looks un professional are handling this contest. I have very bad impression about FXCM. If in demo account they are pathetic what they do in Real accounts.

EVERYONE: GBPNZD on FXCM is @ 2.0572, and my FinFX live account is 2.0622... that's 50 pip difference!!!

That is the funny thing... Typically DEMO works flawless compared to live, but in this case FXCM demo is horrible, but there live works great. I traded for a client several months back in which she had FXCM, and I never once experienced an issue with them at all.. I for one would say that this DEMO contest is just for the fun of it, and the people who take it seriously are the people who don´t have real money to trade with.

That is very weir!
Now I am on top 5 so I am very serious about the fair of this contest.
If not fair I will quit.
No one can win competitor who create by broker no matter how skilled are you.
I see in some monthly contests top competitor multiply their account thousands time, if they trade so good like this why not go to live?

Hi traders,
I have a real account with FXCM and i can tell you they have some problems before MT4 buid 600, now i am running built 745 and it\s fine.....but they realy blow this contest. I can say they are ok with real accounts.
