True...
-implementation
-user friendly
-Opened up a community of traders and so much more
- Easy automation
Why Meta will never be a Professional platform.
- Tick driven
-Closes 1 position at a time
-disconnects
-Slow execution
-back testing
Of course you will defend Meta Trader and Brokers that use mt4 considering that you have spent years developing an Expert Advisor which you promote, sell, etc.

I dont want you sucking up my brokers liquidity. (even though my forum buddies know the brokers I like) - But it really doesnt matter to you because you would NEVER trade with them anyway since they are MT4 ONLY.
I've used so many programming languages over my career that it doesnt matter what I use to accomplish my goals. After proving my trading concept in MQL4 I'll be starting from scratch in Ninja or whatever I think will allow the strategy to trade beyond MQL4. As I stated before MQL4 is a great way to test trading ideas. Thats what I'm defending NOT any particular language. (I dont downgrade ANYTHING that gets the job done)

From my trading experience with brokers in the past, I will say there is no ""best"" broker. There are a few good brokers, like CMC and FP Markets, that provide reliable trading conditions.
The spreads are as promised, averaging between 0.1 and 0.3 pips in most major pairs, with a good customer service team that is quick to answer client queries.
Yeap, just opened FP spread are promising and laverage up to 500. Will be my new forex broker, Shame that IRRES only available for Australian, I used Saxo, Dukascopy, IBKR, about 30 brokers and in my opinion FP for Forex best spread plus good laverage.

Everyone has different needs, but I think all of these components should be considered:
1.) What assets does the broker offer for trading? (FX, crypto, indices, stocks, etc.)
2.) What leverage does the broker offer?
3.) What platform does the broker use?
4.) What methods can be used to deposit and withdraw? How long does it take to process withdrawals?
5.) How can you contact customer support? When are they available?
6.) Most importantly, what are the costs associated with using the broker?
I considered all of these things with multiple brokers and wound up going with CedarFX because they had the best offer in every category. Multiple assets for trading, 1:500 leverage, MT4, quick deposits and same-day withdrawals, 24/7 support on LiveChat, and low costs.

Best Broker? There is no such "best broker" because every one of them have pros & cons. However, I can say the worst broker that I ever had in my 12 years trading the forex market is I-See-Bucketshop a.k.a ICMarkets who not only manipulate their client's trading platform but put out false spikes to kill their trading account.

This is offered by a couple of brokers I know. So it's not just CedarFX.

When we know a broker is manipulative, our money is never safe with them no matter what they claimed on their site.

IC Markets and Roboforex for me. I never had any issues with them for years.
Good for you! That's exactly what one of my online Australian friends said about I-See-Bucketshop a.k.a ICMarkets until they too started doing funning things with his trading account.

We know how you hate IC Markets as from your comments. You don't have to keep saying it. I only can say good things about them though.

If I were to mention any, it would be fxview and tickmill, I like their trading conditions and charting tools. Apart from those, I like that they have a variety of options for customizing indicators and EAs, so that I can try to monitor and find the accuracy on chart for backtesting.
