10 years a very long time I doubt there are many traders that have 10 years of data good or bad. 5 years is more likely.

@Nasrul_Swing @SaltyWaters
everyone says so
but where are your 10+ years results
that is what does matter
Where are yours?
What you just said defines hypocrisy. You don't have 10 years of results to show either.
You did not ask regular profit for 10 years ( thats impossible even for big fund , often they have years loss and years gain ).
I trade FX for 10years, I have regular Profit (for last 3 years). I trade on Interactive Brokers that cannot link to my FXbook. Before criticize someone let look yourself first, I have no benefit to lie, I just replied your question politely.
I assume you are not referring to me, because I was not the one criticizing, you are referring to togr right?

I believe Individual traders who still compete on Currency trading by using traditional trading systems based on rules or technical indicators and implemented as single decision trees are increasingly ineffective. Algorithms is the way to go.

I'm sorry to ask this
because I see the portfolio of several forex winners here on other contests they lose a lot, inconsistent
my opinion for long term 100% forex traders must have lost
therefore many brokers give a lot of bonuses
please let me know if my opinion is wrong

What are you suggesting here a simple trading system with few rules or a complex trading system with many rules?
The market will trade through it’s path of least resistance .

With all due respect to the fans of automated trading systems... I worked as forex trading systems programmer for 7 years. Had a lot of meetings with my colleagues from different parts of the world. I should confess, it's impossible to create a system that would compete with experienced trader, at least for the time being. Too many things to consider! It's impossible to trade successfully based only on technical indicators, and not consider at all the economic and political situation. Could you imagine how difficult to trade GBP with all this Brexit mess for automate systems? I better believe you do. The only good thing I got from my programmer experience, it helped me to become a good manual trader.

I have to disagree with that, in a good way. I understand you haven't accomplished that yet but that doesn't make it impossible. I have been using my automated strategy for over 10 years, pure technical, and it's been working just fine. It has survived all the flash crashes and Brexit's that happened along the way. 😄
