Hi guys,
Can you please advise which brokers allow you to keep Demo accounts open indefinitely? I'm currently using Alpari UK but they close them down after 30 days of no trades and I want to list my demo accounts on here on a monthly basis. As I am now done with Dec14, there will be no more trades on that account but I need to keep all the trades I did on it 'clickable' via MyFXBook.
Thanks

Your system published to MFB will stay there eventhough your broker will delete your account.

Even if they close them down after 30 days you can just open another one. I know that Admiral will give you a demo account for life if you open a live account with them
That’s good. I have a real account. But sometime I need demo account to test some new skill and strategy.

Demo practice for new traders should be done for a minimum of 5 months. Demo trading should be done as long as you are not able to develop skills in demo trading. You will get satisfaction by trading in that broker. That broker should be traded.

Demo account is the most important detail for learning. But from my experience, I can tell you to use a real account with a small amount of money in the account. Believe me, trading with real money will give the best result in training. This is a very popular training method in our company.

If you are new to the trade, setting up a demo account for about 3 months will give you sufficient information and practice to further begin with trading. You can use demo accounts to observe, practise, and ultimately test your strategy.

My broker only closes the account if there is no activity in the demo account from last 30minutes. Incase, you open the demo account even once in 30days. then your demo account will remain activated.

Nowadays, as most brokers offer demo accounts, it has become easier for traders like me to choose a strategy that works. I practice all my strategies on the demo account before using them on my live account.

Whenever I learn a new strategy, I always apply it on my demo account first. If it works, I will go live with it.

Hey, you can try it on a demo. It is a good way of practising and understanding how everything works.

I think working on a demo and applying different strategies will be a good way to go about it. This will help in determining whether a strategy is profitable or not.
