People already answered - yes, you can scalp with FP Markets. It's actually one of the best brokers to do that actually.
My experience has been good experience so far with FP Markets. I'm trading using their MT4 Raw spreads account- positions execution is pretty fast, spreads are good as well.
From my experience, FP Markets has definitely been good, their trading conditions have been very reliable even during high volatile events.
Another advantage is that FP Markets is regulated by ASIC so they have to be very compliant, so clients can be rest assured that their funds are safe

I’m about to open an account with FP Markets, Since I’m a scalper wanted to know if FP Markets are a better choice of broker for scalping. Let me know if there is any other hidden cost on their spreads, execution and Commission per Lot on the Raw account.
FP Markets have one the of the best customer support out of all the brokers that i have traded with. Their response time is almost instantaneous and are genuinely trying to help you unlike other brokers.
I asked them over a dozen questions before deciding to open a account with them and Irida from their customer support was patient enough to answer every single question in detail without getting pissed off.

Hi steve75, I would recommend you to use FP Markets, its a good choice for scalping.
The commissions are lower compared to other similar ECN brokers, they only charge US$3 per lot, spread starts from a little as 0.0 Pips.
As for the hidden cost, FP Markets have no hidden cost except for the commision, its transparent in their website
I'm from Spain do they accept Spanish clients, how are their spreads on commodities ?

Scalping is a short time trading strategy. So, spread is a big matter regrading this kind of strategy. Trader should choose low spread broker for scalping.

Currently trading with another broker but looking to move my account to FP Markets as the spreads over there are better.
Their standard commission is 3$ per lot, any chance to get a discount/rebate on this?

Well, I think it's suitable if you don't mind +0.5 extra pips for commission (rt). Otherwise, Fxview is leading imo if looking for low spreads when commission is included.

Besides regulation, Scalper needs low spread and fast execution platform without requote. If they provide those they are good for scalping.

Scalping is the strategy which is taken by mostly new traders. They use this strategy to make money quickly from the market.

For any trader, low trading commissions and tight spreads are important considerations.

Agree.. People tend to look at spreads without considering the commissions. In most cases there's high on either side, spreads or commission except few brokers including fxview, tickmill, fpmarkets.
From my trading experience, FP Markets have been good for scalping. I decided to open an account with them after feedback from other traders.
Their EURUSD spreads for example: averages 0.0 pips through the day, the execution is stable even during high volatile events.

Yes, that’s true. FP Markets is a good broker. I have been using it for scalping for the last two years.
Trading with FP Markets for a while, I did not have any issues with their spreads even during high market movements, especially on news and the execution speed is fast as usual.
FP has good trading conditions, but their commission is somewhat higher than what I was expecting. One thing I noticed is that their trading conditions are similar to fxview and tickmill except they have lower commission - $1 and $2 per 100k per side respectively, which is what I’d like to see for scalping.
I'm a scalper trading for close to a year and have tried ICM, pepperstone and FXM in the past, and currently trading with FP Markets for about two months.
The spreads and commission costs are lower compared to my previous brokers; the customer service dedicated manager was helpful as well in solving queries.
