Over-trading is a very harmful element. I have lost the investment of many of my accounts by overtaking. So I understand that overtrading can cause a lot of problems in psychology. Overtrading can ruin a trading career. The market is open 24 hours but not always traded in the market. Now if you are trading in this situation, you are not eligible to trade. If you do not give up overtrading, you will never see success in trading.

Most of the time, people over-trade because of emotional trading whether it is fear or greed.
Some people over-trade just to recover their previous loss and some become too greedy to earn a lot from trading.

Avoid over-trading, this could be very harmful and you can lose your hard earned money.

It’s truly said that you must keep your emotions aside when you are trading forex. It can turn out to be harmful and instead of making profits, you end up losing your money.

Yes, over-trading is very harmful. It is like putting more and more salt into already salted food.
It can even blow your account.

It is actually harmful. We generally do this when we want to recover our losses and in that moment we lose more of our money as we generally lose our calm

Losing trade can be profitable if discipline is managed. However, trading should not be done. It is more likely to be lost.

Over-trading is a very harmful emotion. If you trade over, you are more likely to lose. And managing risk here is a little tricky.

Over-trading is one of the reasons people lose money in the market. It's the emotions. They can not control themselves from opening unnecessary trades. Every trader should work on it.

Don’t trade with your emotion. Try to control emotion in trading or else you will fail.

what is over-trading for you guys? when do you say you are over-trading and when do you say you are under-trading? How many trades max you usually plan for 1 day? How any in Europe session and how many in US session? It's easy to talk about over-trading but what is really ''over'' for you?

Yes, you are right. If you do emotional trading, you will not be successful in trading.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply but I certainly don't agree that someone can control an emotion. Emotion is not something that a human can control. Emotions is what makes us human and you cannot control it. Instead, you need to be aware that you have such emotion during the trading but never allow it to affect your trading decision.

Ah yes there’s literally no end to the damage done because of overtrading, one of them being opening too many positions. Often traders believe to hit the jackpot of some of the trades while as a matter of fact, most of the trades will end up in losses.
