Brokers trading account types differences & Scalping definition

Hi All,
I am new to trading & still undergoing extensive researching & learning.
However I am still confused between brokers types, My 1st training was using a 4 digit broker, however when I started practicing on my demo account I observed It is using 5 digits.
I also hear about ECN accounts, and many experienced traders recommend this type.
Can somebody explain to me the difference between Trading accounts types with some real life examples with some numbers?
Also I would like to know the specific definition of scalping in terms of pips amount and time frames.
I heard some brokers would cancel some of your trades if they were scalping.
